One of the criteria is % of bachelor degrees. I would assume we have a lot higher % of technical degrees in this area with all of the refineries. Most plants don't require a degree or only a 2 year associates so that would skew the numbers some.

A lot of people think Mississippi State's Dan Mullen will leave to take the Florida job when it comes open. He won a few National Championships there as an OC.

Florida cancelled media sessions this morning and had most people thinking Muschamp was being fired. He could have been on a plane to College Station in the morning.

#6 vs #12 was the 3rd choice for TV so we got the early game. That's life in the SEC.

Hopefully when Muschamp gets fired tomorrow, the Ags will bring him in to coach the defense. He can start Monday.

Murray is making his case for the best RB in the league.

It's hard to compare Beaumont with San Antonio. UTSA is in a major city with no pro team and has over 30,000 students. Hiring Larry Coker didn't hurt either. UTSA will be a good mid major that big schools won't want to play as long as Coker is there.

The Red, White, and Blue game after 9/11 was the best sporting event I've ever attended. The emotions that day were indescribable and the pride in our school for pulling that off was awesome. It was definitely sometime I will remember the rest of my life. I came right after bonfire fell, but I'm sure that game would rank right up there for a lot of people.
