Baylor SS just booted an easy game ending double play ball that would sent the Bears to Omaha.  Bases loaded with 1 out in the 9th for Arkansas.  Baylor leads 4-3

Baylor leads Arkansas 4-3 in the 7th.  They are just a few outs away from advancing to their 4th WS appearance in school history. Game 3 between LSU and Stoney Brook starts at 7.  That should be a goood one.

The Astros offered Appel $6 mil and he turned it down according to reports. 

I think the first game is more important for SB.  They need to win that game and scratch one of the others.  Stoney Brook has one of the best records in baseball this year, so they must have some pitching.

Does 6 pitchers really count?  The Astros had one a while back It's not the same as 1 guy, but still pretty impressive.

First off, you don't even have the kids name right.  His momma's last name is Moss, not his.  It sounds to me like Keith Stone read all of the mommas rants last night on FaceBook and got on here to start stuff.  I find it hard to believe that Keith Stone has any clue as to what he is talking about when he doesn't even know the kids name.  Good try though!  ::)

His signing bonus was $4.8 million which is $2.4 less than the recommended slot value and makes him the lowest paid 1st overall pick since 2006.  All of you saying the Astros didn't base this decision based on money need to take off the blinders.  I really hope it works out for the best, but I just wish they would have taken the best player and not the guy that was the cheapest.  [Hidden Content]
