Webb Simpson was the 15th first time Major winner in the last 15 majors.  Furyk choked it up at the end, but a good win for the 26 yr old Simpson.

The are recruiting him as a DB.  He can run and had a great showing in the drills the Ags put him through.  People are reporting that A&M is trying to get him to graduate early and enroll in college in January so they can count his scholarship towards this year.

17 yr old Amature Beau Hossler is tied for the lead at -1.  I couldn't imagine being in that spot at 17 yrs old

Tiger just drilled a 40 foot putt to take the lead.  He is -2 through 15

Phil with a bogey, bogey, bogey start.  Really he is lucky to only be +3 after some of the shots he has hit.

Tiger looks very under control.  He is hitting fairways and greens and making easy 2 putt pars.  Everyone else is having to work hard for every shot. 

It time to get underway.  The first 6 holes are supposed to be brutal with a +2 score on those holes considered good.  Many people predicting a winning score of -1 to -3 for the Open Champion

The knuckleballer threw a 1 hitter tonight(which should have been an error) and is now 10-1 on the year.  He is the first pitcher to reach 10 wins this year and saw his 32 inning scoreless streak end tonight. Who would have thought that the 37 yr old Dickey would be the best pitcher in the MLB so far this year?
