1.
Strange. I know in playoff games they pick up from where they left off. In 21-3A they're picking up as well tomorrow. 20-4A has some crazy rules.
I think the UIL should just set the rules and everyone go by them to avoid confusion.  Half of the time the coaches don't even know the rules( ex. HF & BC a few years ago).  Same goes for the tiebreaker rules that they are dealing with in softball now with 20-4a having tiebreaker rules for everything but 4th place??? If the state had uniform rules on these things it would be much simpler for everyone to keep up with.
2. Was Griff maybe playing a little game keeping Livingston there all night.  ;D
3. Baylor has won 22 straight games and is now 16-0 in conference. They now have a 4 game lead on A&M and UT with both teams losing tonight. Baylor made a believer out of me tonight.  They were very patient at the plate and had base runners in every inning.  You do that consistenly and sooner or later you will score some runs.  The Ags have now dropped 3 straight games, and will have to figure something out the next 2 days on the road in Waco.
4. Baylor- inf single, 463 dp end inning.  Baylor had base runners in every inning A&M-  Statum ph K,  Ags go in order Baylor        5    14    4 A&M          3      8      3              Final
5. Baylor- K reaches on WP, single, pitcher #4 for A&M, rbi single ties it E7 advances runners,  Int BB to load the bases, 2 run single runner thrown out taking 3rd A&M-  HBP, 643 dp ends inning Baylor        5    13    4 A&M          3      8      3                after 8
6. That strikeout that reached on a passed ball was killer for A&M.  You can't give good hitting teams 4 outs. Baylor brings in the closer in the 8th
7. Baylor- K reaches on WP, single, pitcher #4 for A&M, rbi single ties it E7 advances runners,  Int BB to load the bases, 2 run single runner thrown out taking 3rd A&M- Baylor        5    13    4 A&M          3      8      3                mid 8
8. Baylor- BB, New Ags pitcher, A&M- single Baylor        2    10    4 A&M          3      8      2                after 7
9. Baylor- BB, New Ags pitcher, A&M- Baylor        2    10    4 A&M          3      7      2                mid 7
10. You have to love Baylor's approach at the plate.  They see a ton of pitches and make the pitchers work. I wish they kept a stat of the number of foul balls that the Bears have hit tonight.  I can see why they have such a good hitting team and have won 21 games in a row.  A&M can't feel too confident only being up 1 run with their bullpen into close.
11. Baylor- BB, Wacha out after 120 pitches, single, A&M- single, SB e2 gets him to 3rd Baylor        2    10    4 A&M          3      7      2                after 6
12. Baylor- leadoff single, single, rbi 6-4 fc should have been an inning ending DP, A&M- E6, left at 2nd Baylor        2    9    2 A&M          3    6    2                after 5
13. Baylor- E4, 463 Dp, double, hbp.  A&M- 3 up 3 down Baylor        1    7    2 A&M          3    6    2                after 4 Baylor has left 2 runners on every inning.  Wacha at 84 pitches through 4
14. Baylor-  Naquin robbed a HR on the short fence in right.  Someone is going to get hurt with that 4 ft fence.  inf Single, inf single. Baylor leaves 2 again A&M- single, bb Baylor        1    6    2 A&M          3    6    1                after 3
15. Baylor leadoff single, inf single, rbi single, runner picked off to end inning A&M single, sb, E5, rbi single Baylor        1    4    2 A&M          3    5    1                after 2 Baylor can swing it.  They have left 2 runners both innings.  Wacha already over 50 pitches in the first 2 innings
16. Baylor lead off single then next guy reaches on E3.  Both runners left stranded A&M lead off triple, rbi groundout, single takes 2nd on E9, rbi single Baylor        0    1    1 A&M          2    3    1                after 1

18.
You mean PNG 0 Vidor 0 in the top of the first!
Depends on what the coaches voted on at the begining of the season.
19. Just heard a stat that he has pitched to 8% of hitters in MLB history.  Wow! At 49 he became the oldest pitcher to ever win a game and will set a record with every win.  Moyer is a great example to kids that you don't have to throw 95 to get people out.  Location and movement are the keys to being a successful pitcher.
20. Curtis Granderson goes 5-5 with 3hr's and 4 ribs in the Yanks 7-6 win.  I would say that's a decent day at the yard. Last night Cliff Lee pitched 10 scoreless inning and was nearly matched by Matt Caine who went 9 shutout innings.
21.
I have curved the ball like that many times.      ;)
I said on purpose!
22. A&M probably has the advantage in pitching especially the first 2 games with Wacha and Stripling.  Baylor has been putting up some runs and finding ways to win.  Should be a great series.
23. Ut beat Texas St tonight 2-0.  Felts was 2-3 at the plate with an RBI.  3 game series at home vs Kansas this weekend
24. #12 Rice scored 1 in the 8th and 1 in the 9th to beat #4 Texas A&M tonight. The Ags have a big series against 1st placed Baylor this weekend.
