  1. Detroit wins 2-1 to take a 3-0 series lead!  1 win away from the WS
  2. Verlander has given up 2 hits and 0 runs through 8 innings and he gets to go home to Kate Upton.  Man life isn't fair!
  3. I have a strategy question about Faircloth.  He has always had the philosophy that no one will play both ways.  This may work at a big school with tons of players, but shouldn't you try to get your best athletes on the field?  I know Nederland has at least 4 guys that play both ways and some others that rotate in.  Vidor does the same.  I was told that PN-G currently only has 15 guys that play defense.  That is no where near enough bodies and depth IMO and is a big reason they give up so many points. Any thoughts on this?  Is Faircloth just being hardheaded and not adapting?  I personally would try to have my best athletes on the field at all times, but what do I know.
  4. LC-M @ Ozen Saturday at 1pm is also a huge game with playoff implications

Could get real ugly,  real quick. It is what it is.  :/ [/quote] It won't be ugly.  Nederland doesn't have the offense to embarrass anyone.  Their whole goal is to not turn it over and play defense.

  12. Starts Sunday.  Winner plays in the World Series.
  13. St Louis scored 4 in the top of the 9th to win the series.
  14. Huge comeback win for St Louis.  Strasburg is good and rested for next season.  The team with the best record in baseball is done because of ownerships decision.
