I believe Season ticket holders get the first shot at these tickets when they pick up their tickets before the season.  If Nederland gets 1000 tickets and the season ticket holders buy 990 of them, that only leaves 10 for the rest of the people.  I know it sucks, but that is the way it is done at most schools. 

No love for Lumberton?  They have the same district record as everyone else right now.  ;D

Most people assume that Nederland & Vidor are shoe-ins to make the playoffs.  Central, Ozen, PNG, LCM, & Livingston all have legit shots to make it.  This district should be a lot of fun this year.  My advice to coaches is to score as many points as you can and win by as much as you can. I can see some tie breakers in the near future to decide this mess.  Who makes the playoffs and who is left a home come playoff time?

This is probably the deepest group of teams that I can remember in SETX in a long time.  We have at least 6 Big school teams that can go 4+ rounds in the playoffs and make a run at a State Title.  Memorial, Nederland, Vidor, Dayton, WOS, and Coldspring are all legit teams that will make some noise in the playoffs.  It makes our jobs as pollsters alot more difficult, because I think all of these teams could beat each other on any given Friday night.  I think I'm going to draw straws for the Top 6 in my poll.  ;D

PA Memorial should be #1.  Maybe your boy was right about LP.  I don't drop Nederland at all after taking the #3 team in state to the brink.  BH drops. Summer Creek looks like the real deal.  Central may be the best 0-3 team around.  Time to regroup at the Reservation.  Huge win for Coldspring.  Jasper is for real with Barbay.  Dayton, WO-S & Vidor keep taking care of business
