Does anyone think that if these 2 teams were named Texas or Oklahoma that they would be on the outside looking in for the playoff?

It's funny this thread was started by a fan of an ACC team. That conference is so bad that the only unbeaten Power 5 team in the country is only ranked #3 in the polls.

So the Big 12 has it right. They should blow up every other conferences in the country and make all new 10 team conferences so they can be more like the Big 12. Makes sense

Not everyone gets 3 bye weeks like the Big 12-2. Other conferences have to schedule their "bye games"

Let me rephrase. Texas would have more to gain and less to lose if this game takes place.

I think Kyle is fine and has a bright future ahead of him. He seems to have earned the respect of the team which is huge for a freshman. Rumors are that Kenny never did. The play calling has been horrendous though. I don't know if Spav's in over his head or what. He makes a lot of calls that leave you scratching your head. The offense doesn't get in a rhythm and thus the defense is on the field the whole game. A&M is better when their defense is as far away from the field as possible.

It was Chimp and his sources that told us there was no way A&M was leaving for the SEC.

Not have a championship game is hurting the Big 12 more than yall will admit. Every other conference gets an extra game against a ranked team.

Doc Holiday from Marshall is said to be a front runner. Marshall is unbeaten this year and Doc has probably the best name in football.

It would be a bigger game for Texas than it would for A&M.

Good bye week for Dallas since every other NFC team lost. Dallas is now tied with Philly for 1st with the Giants on the schedule this Sunday.

It looks like Texas would have to beat TCU for this game to happen. If not, it will nd most likely Oklahoma. Odds are pretty good that A&M ends up in the Texas Bowl, but you never know since the SEC no longer has a bowl selection order.

They will if they want to get into to the game. That game will sell out in 2 minutes if those 2 teams matchup. Really if either team ends up playing there it will sell out.

I can get Texas Bowl tickets for $25 with a hot dog and a drink. Pretty good investment if A&M and Texas do end up playing. I just ordered 12. I'll start the bidding at $200 each for all of you t-shirt fans.

A lot of people say Mullen didn't have a great split with Florida and won't be going back there. The Florida fans weren't too happy when Urban Meyer left and evidently took it out on his coaching staff's families.
