A&M is still ranked #2 in the polls behind Florida with 10 games left. Remaining series against #5 Vandy, #7 South Carolina, & #10 Ole Miss. Pretty brutal finish to the SEC schedule. A 5-4 record in those games would be an accomplishment and should lock up a national seed.

I just boarded a cruise in Galveston and we are going through the safety meeting. Women and children have 1st priority on safety boats in case of emergency. That's sexist!! I think I'm going to sue Carnival when I get back. No way they can expect me to swim that far just because I have a penis.

The sad part is that half of the country thinks like this. This isn't the country that I grew up in any longer.

New Orleans and it's not really close. College Station & Baton Rouge before Fall semester starts won't be great. Galveston you can go to anytime, but the nightlife isn't great. Lafayette is meh. I like SA to bring the kids, but if you're going to party, you may as well stay closer and go out in Houston. Go stay in Gruene/New Braunsfels/San Marcos area and float the river if you really want to stay in Texas.
