Per JISD and KJAS- Jasper @ Rusk will be played tomorrow night at 6:30. All sub-varsity games are cancelled.

I'm taking Jasper in a close game. This could go either way depending on how well Vidor moves the ball on offense. The Vidor defense will play strong, but the Bulldogs have a lot of firepower that I cannot foresee them containing all game. My prediction: Jasper 26 , Vidor 24.

I don't know what Barbay's record is in Jasper, but he has won most of those 145 there and lost most of the 78 before he got there. If the game is close at halftime, that plays into Jasper's hands. He and his staff have been really good with halftime adjustments. H-J did have a good first half, but they couldn't do much at all in the second half and they were shut out 25-0. 
Having said that, we know that Vidor is a better team than H-J and that Jasper can't afford to play poorly early. As good as their adjustments are, they don't always matter when you're trying to dig out of a hole.

Can't wait for this one. I'll take Jasper 28-27 in a classic. 

Jasper has a very very strong football history. Many district championships and many deep playoffs runs. 

As far as I’m concerned, they can start 0-3 if it prepares them for a deep playoff run. Steel sharpens steel.

Don't think this will be a trap game for Jasper.  Jasper got its wake-up call last year. 

Should be a great game. If I wasn't going to the Silsbee game I'd be at this one. My gut says Jasper

No problem! I do my best to listen to all of our games and post. 

Jasper scores again on a Hunt TD run. 48-14 Bulldogs. 

Back underway. Hunt scores on a 4-yard run. 20-6 Jasper.

Jasper lost a senior to a serious injury and the game has been delayed for about 15 minutes. No word on who was hurt or what the injury was, but the player was taken to a local hospital. 

Bulldogs score on a bad snap to the HJ punter. 7-0 Dawgs after the PAT. 

The pregame is on already. KJAS doesn't usually start that until 30 minutes prior to kickoff.

And that is not all the story.  Jasper also tied Huntsville.  Huntsville beat Hebert, and went on to win the state championship.  Never long for the good ole days when only one team made it out of district.  In Jasper's only trip to the state finals, they were the third place team out of their district.

I seen both teams play also. But when it comes to Jasper-WOS you never know so until then. 

Who will beat Silsbee before the 4th round and how do we know WOS beats Jasper?
