That's also what I'm hearing from some of my sources. It is his if the $$$ is right!! Don't know what his salary is now but to come home and take over the program that you once played from and to possibly take Jasper back to being a top team!! Would be a pretty awesome accomplishment!!!

Coach Alvarez started in coaching on Walkoviak's staff back in 1990 when I was still there, if I remember correctly. He was there until he took the Kirbyville job. It would be a good fit for sure. Bronson would benefit long-term from being on his staff. 

Yep Coach Alvarez was my coach in 95. I think he will be a good fit for the Bulldogs!!

Never been to Whitehouse that I can recall for anything. Since I go to every Varsity Jasper BullDAWG game I will be there to watch/support the DAWGS while they play the Cadets of Waco Connally.

If it was on a Friday i would go. Hopefully next week if the dogs can pull it out.

They're extremely well-coached on that side of the ball. Jasper mixed in some of the of the Wing-T that they had run over the last few years also, which kept Center's offense off the field. Our running game was better than it's been all season. I think most of our fans knew we'd make the playoffs (mostly because the district isn't very good), but our defense will make us a tough out. 

Me and a few of my buddy's had this conversation before the season started. Mix the old with the new for as the offense to keep the other teams D confused.

I gotta give my pumpkin rine some credit. She may very well been on point, cause he is coaching like someone just trying to get thru the season and over with.

**Disclaimer **: this post is a matter of personal opinion.  I have not been told he is retiring or heard that. nor attempting to start that rumor. anywho...

To my knowledge we have numerous position coaches on offensive side but no offensive coordinator. Malcolm Bronson is our Defensive  Coordinator and doing a great job!

Coach has to be  the one calling plays for offense and he is terrible at it.  this vanilla  junior high offensive strategy each week is the worst/weakest in Jasper football modern times.

It's just sad to watch my Bulldogs right now!!

The Defense is pretty darn good but the O is the worst I've seen in a long time .

I know a few of the young men on this team and when i talk to them i can hear the hurt and frustration in there voice!!

OMG THIS OFFENSE IS JUST JUST OMG!!!!!!! NOT GOOD

If we had any type of offense Jasper could win this game cause the D is doing their job!!!

Very proud of my Bulldogs on getting the win. The defense is solid this year so with that being said i was wrong in my early statement that my dogs would not win another game. 

I love my Bulldogs till the end!!

But i don't think were going to make it to the playoffs this year!

I'm interested in seeing who replaces that workhorse Limbrick, I think Thomas returns as that do-everything-guy on offense. 

Thomas was a Sr. Not much this year Jasper going to be very young. But the D is going to be pretty good.
