I can't keep up with all these posts😂. Taking Crosby in this one no surprise there. However coach Freeman and Prieto are going to have to get some offensive execution. Crosby's passing attack is non-existent

BH Definitely was winning in the trenches early on. Crosby totally undisciplined but still had chances to win. I been watching football a long time and I have never seen a ref have two of his flags picked up on the same drive. The obvious unnecessary roughness and pass interference. Take nothing away from the Hill. 41 and 48 on that D- line were some tough customers. On the other hand I can't seem to see what it is tht Prieto is working on at practice for CHS offense. QB's can't throw a five yard out in warm -ups. WR can't catch em. The Barrett Station Dragons are better at execution on offense. Good win at the Hill I see them being the only team with a chance at a playoff win from this district.

Looks like they were telling to think pass first. He had several opportunities to take off and he held up until the last moment. As slippery as he is he could have had close to 200 yards on Santa Fe. IMO #2 is a better thrower of the football

Crosby always struggles with Vidor. However they’ve absolutely owned BH for the last 10years. You may not be losing sleep but Westerburg is , hoping that he doesn’t once again become Crosby’s whipping boy.

Magnolia said that BH had the best defense they faced all year....The best defense to score on that is.

The disrespect for Vidor is real in this district. I’ve been critical of them in the past but they may just have the best coach in the district. The reason Crosby struggled and will continue to struggle with them is simple discipline. But enough praise for Vidor. Someone earlier said that Crosby had the best D in the district and I said its waay to early to tell, well now I think time has come. BH might be losing some sleep about that cougar defense.

Roshon is going to play on Sundays. PNG QB will not and thats OK. Point is its hard to replace that kind of talent. As for Crosby if they want to have a chance at BH they better get some mojo on that office.

Funny that the previous two games between these teams was a shoot out this game was all defense and shotty offense. Crosby has got to find some rhythm offensively. Rio as head coach hogged all the talent on offense to a fault.(Talent walking the sidelines) This coach seems to want the talent on defense. Crosby DB's catch better than the WR.

I really think this year will be different. Angleton wasn't vanilla on offense at all but they got very little out of that defense.

Crosby has a lot of athletes on Defense this year. Defense will look a lot better than past years. Best in the district will be determined AT THE END of district play. Not to bash anyone but the new QB will be a huge upgrade from last years starter. QB is super athletic and fast. Looks like Prieto is more apt to put talent on the defensive side of the ball a contrast to Rio who had 4 RB's one of which could've started at LB. And the other had the fastest time in 100m in the district. Never saw the sense in him carrying that many RB and only using 2

I think I speak for the entire community from "Across the tracks" when I say we think the hiring of Jerry Prieto was some good ol boy home cooking and had nothing to do with what's best for the football program. However we hope for the best. We also think/know that the selection coming down to Prieto and the coach from Foster was just a ploy to make us feel better....It didn't work. We know that the fix was in from the beginning. In the case of Riordan, the attention that he brought to the program was way more valued than his abilities as a coach. Kids getting offers left and right was a blessing.

Heard he was pretty good. 12-1 record last year. From the YouTube vid I saw looks like they run a shotgun spread similar to what we ran with Riordan
