For whatever reason WOS names all kind of stuff after people. Libraries, fields, stadiums, etc... Kind of like Beaumont ISD Nederland and PNG ISD's don't. Exception might be our Delyahousee field. Only thing I can think of. In a matter of fact way I think it is because of the socio/economic make up of those districts.

I will say that WOS has one hell of a program! I think it exemplifies what a true dynasty is- unlike some programs that have constantly changed/buy etc... new uniforms yearly have a big Busta clique- all WOS does is come out of a old locker room maybe 2/3 uniform changes over the last 30 years and mop the floor with their opponent. Not a PNG fan BUT their Superintendent told Fossard, BISD, Obahama, and everyone's Momma how it's gonna be. the people I know from PN and Groves love him and how he stands up for what they seem is right.
