So if all colleges have systemic racism, how does it fit into Grambling?  Since they’re predominantly black, does that mean the systemic racism is against whites?   Easy to throw these words around.  Sound impressive.  Sound important.  A little harder to explain when the right questions are asked.

I’m old enough to have seen racism.  Grambling is a product of it.  These people using these words today (systemic racism) dilute real racism.  It was ugly and immoral.  Today blacks, via Laws & EEO, have more opportunities than whites.  We have systemic 🐂💩, But imo, not systemic racism.

only systemic racism if it fits the BLM, NAACP, Board of Black Legislatures, etc...definition

African Americans, especially female are WAY WAY more likely to be hired that a 30 year old White male --- FACT

By the way,  can we apply this to the NFL or NBA?????? implement a white player quota? God forbid!!!

Look around and see what races are doing well uhm -- White, Jewish, Arabic, Asians, Europeans,  Africans (native), etc...

    Only African- Americans failing.

That's why the liberals and African Americans want special treatment. They have proven they are not capable on their own.

    Sorry, it is a fact

Gonna be looking for 2 coaches.....

Yep, and girls coaches too. I'm hearing King to United or Memorial OR could stay and teach only - that's the rumor at other Schools Field Houses.  Some talk about Faircloth too.   They have to honor King's contract less coaching stipends.  Probably about $15,000 total. 6 for football, 2/3 for coordinator then 3 or so for 2 other sports $12-15.  PNG get days for extra time put in at their day rate so around 300 a day for 15 or so days

    Time will tell

It’s cool man.. these hillbilly boys know a whopping 1.5 black people in their town of 1000 (latest census) and are thus qualified to make such broad statements and generalizations.

Kind of like the juvenile underwear on these boys head .  BOTTOM line look at BISD and PAISD educational achievements - compare it to NISD PNGISD HJISD HFISD LISD Kelly Orangefield  etc... what do you think?

Ask the Hershel Walkers, Charles Barclay, Ben Carson,  how to achieve

Done with this topic Let the facts speak for themselves

When black people attack Asians, it's whitey's fault then, too.

Just like when black people kill other black people.... it's whitey's fault.

    The mindset is just..... unbelievable.

That's the problem.  As a whole - not all -  African Americans blame Anglo's for all their failures.  The truth is we ( government) Give  EXTRA favor to those folk.  And they still lead in unemployment, crime, black on black crime, pregnancy w/ no father.etc...

I believe they proudly use and coined  the term Baby Daddy.

All of the above is correct.  Can't overlook these facts.

Goose Creek has a district AD and Asst AD. Each high school has two campus AD's that are no longer tied to male or female sports.

I feel certain your are mistaken.  I know Lee Martinez AD and Greg Smith asst. AD  They have a coordinator at each campus (3) to do paperwork i.e. TRs, substitutes, UIL stuff, etc...  NOT like PNG with 2 full pay ADs - boys and girls

PA, NEd, WOS, etc... None have 2 ADs at 1 campus

  6. things will be the  same.  Top 11 on Offence  everyone else, put them where you want.  another 600yd per game defense.  Of course, as all coaches can do nowadays 'BUT WE MADE THE PLAYOFFS" 4th place with probably losing record.  that's the problem today - we need only one WINNER and ONE chicken dinner.  PNG coaches have been on record that the MC madness is just another game.  Total BS.

I assume - I KNOW _others are aware of the recent conversations, emails, training, etc...

Well, Looks like the middle aged (and old aged) white guys of SETX have determined that this is no big deal.  Glad I checked before making my own conclusion

I think it's the BLM group that's jealous. Also, it takes away from the attention middle age JOBLESS black males have.

Us middle age "white guys" - I'm on the brown side - Pay taxes so the unemployed black (old and young aged) can stay home with juvenile underwear on their head and 40.

Absolutely! How many AD’s have passed through while she has remained? How many straight years did her volleyball teams make the playoffs? How many state championships? Oh, and she happens to have more career victories than any other volleyball coach in Texas history. She still does a lot more than coach golf. A lot of schools have girl coordinators/AD’s.

Thanks, I had no idea that most schools have Girls ADs in addition to a Boys AD.

She certainly deserves it, no question about it.  I dont follow volleyball but her name is always mentioned as the Gold Standard of High School Volleyball coaches.

Just heard PNG just got a new DC. Haven’t heard who are where from yet. But, I will find out and give out details.

KIng  from North Texas area..On that note is PNG the only school paying a Boys AD/head FB coach and girls AD that coaches golf.

    That's a LOT of $$$

Get a better coach that can bring the athletes and facilities and culture to blossoming fruition.

Warren has 0 interest in doing anything but the same thing.  over, over, over, over  and over.  I don't know that they ever won anything - Championship wise???  Only good thing in WCISD is Fred Elementary  and a handful of teacher/coaches and students that have a clue

    You are one

You’re actually correct in that assessment. Big government spending seems to occur no matter which side holds the reins. The difference is what they’re spending money on. Environmental costs (i.e. Green New Deal), social and welfare programs and increased minimum wage will be the Democrats big ticket items.

History shows a 18% jump when all democratic - pres  -house - senate  doesnt make sense   Additionally,  market likes no change.  Sloe Joe can't negotiate a deal to save his life, nothing will pass/actually be implemented  - unlike Trump, the master of the deal..In 2 years all will flip back, hence nothing ACTUALLY gets done.  I rely on the mkt to live on and it's been a hell of a ride this year.

Think about this, if interest rates go Carter level 16,17,18%  go all Jumbos guaranteed money.  If you owe nothing - hell of a deal

What in the world are you talking about?  I'm asking if anyone has seen or heard from Coach V in a while.  Every time a job popped up in the area his name came up and I'm wondering if he's still coaching.

I'm saying the last I heard he was somewhere in west Texas.  That was last year or the year before. He moves a lot - not meaning that in a good OR bad way.  I never knew his name came up every time a HC job came up?  Is he in the running for Lumberton?

  14. He has been at about 20 schools in 23 years.  Last I heard was west Texas somewhere

Gary Brewton from BC would be good.  No HC exp though.  Played at LU early 80s  I think went to Kelly HS  QB

Probably need to go far away and pay more  Dubois at about 96k

School Board has a bad reputation

If there wasn’t a history of hiring discrimination in our country, EEOC would not be needed.

if there wasn’t a long history of minority business discrimination not only in contract awards, but bank lending as well, that law would not be necessary.

Finally, I’m in that last group,  and boy, did we have a hell of a run. History indeed pays back.

We did.  I'm 62 and on my way out.  My son is an engineer - not much competition except for females in EE or CE.  ME and Arch. etc... mostly white males.

The races have been divided since 1787. C’mon man, at least acknowledge our country’s history.

    You are correct.

    Way more minorities on welfare.

Easier to get a job as a minority - EEOC mandates and preference given

Easier to get a Government contract if you are minority owned or female owned

The most discriminated group are middle aged white men -

    Those are facts

Yeah u were at the game like I was so of course you are qualified to say it is bs again enjoy your day and continue  believing that this world is equal to all

you are correct- the world is not equal.  Minorities and females have a huge advantage as opposed to middleclass white men

For instance Port Arthur fire dept gives African Americans a 10 point curve up on the civil service exam to help them get jobs above all others.

For all of you people that "heard" what coach Rideaux did during the OF game let me tell you what actually occurred.  The schools administrators, fans, scorers table and Athletic trainers were allowed to talk to the head coach in any way that they chose to, and the incompetent JV officials didn't control it nor did OF's head coach.  Coach Rideaux's sister was also threatened by fans saying she needed to move out of her seat.  Not only was she threatened but the two kids that she had with here were talked to like they were less than human.  Coach rideaux did not tell a kid he had one job to "make" a 3 pointer he told him that he was subbed in the "shoot" a three pointer and the Kid did not take the shot.  The racism that was shown in that gym has not been spoken about one time in this thread, but yall are dragging a guy's name through the mud who would give the shirt off of his back to these kids that yall say he mistreats.  You cowards on here disgust me.  The real issue should be how HF was called for 10 offensive fouls and orangefield was called for 1.  The real issue should be how certain coaches of certain skin color aren't responsible for controlling their fans.  As a supporter of Kids and anyone trying to help kids I think Coach Rideaux is doing an amazing job with a school who was 3-27 last year an 49-189 the past 10 seasons.  How about we start addressing the issue of racism wait we cant do that because the ones that are spewing negativity on this man are obviously guilty of it.  My advice to coach Rideaux is to continue to coach your team and help build young men.  I guess some of you have never seen success in sports so "almost" is good enough for yall.  I applaud Coach Rideaux for demanding excellence from his kids on the floor and in the classroom.   Oh by the way he has won more games this year than any coach in the history of the school and its not even christmas.  He is obviously doing something right.

I noticed that you are new (2 post)

race card thrown ---- everything he did "wrong" was called because of his skin color and sister??

sounds like a mid 70s rant.
