I think that you be living in a 3rd world country not to realize that this new administration is not keeping things in house. They are hiring new blood from outside the district. The old way of thinking in BISD is dead. Change is difficult, but much needed!

Joey I agree with you it should be somebody that is not from here! Why do so many of you Beaumont guys want to keep giving jobs to Head football coaches that have been fired! Arthur Louis, come on man! New blood, new ideas! Please think bigger than recycled Beaumont coaches! There is way more out there trust me! 

I agree with you that bullying is not near as bad as all the Baylor issues, but I was just wondering if you guys thought that would affect his decision?

I completely agree with you Jim Turner is an outstanding coach, however there are some outstanding coaches that are still at Baylor. It was stated in an earlier thread that Hudson was not going to Baylor because of all the issues currently with the school and team. My question is with all the contraversy and issues surrounding Jim Turner the last few years would that make things any different in his decision making with the Ags.

So should he go to A&M even though the O Line coach Jim Turner was the O Line coach for the Dolphins when they had the bullying situation go down a few years back. He was fired for that and was the fall guy for the Dolphins organization. I'm just wondering since it was said on another thread that he is leaving Baylor to not be associated with that situation. Does this affect his decision.

Most successful ADs are former or current head coaches of a major sport. I think Bowser is a good guy but he lacks experience for a AD job.

It will definitely not be Jackson, who was Saveats Assistant, and they definitely won't hire Boutte who was fired by PAISD! Come on man! Broaden your horizon! New Regime! Da Man or not there will be NEW faces at the top of BISD!

Heard through the grapevine that Ozen will hire Jeff Nelson this coming Thursday.

Several on here want to pass the buck as to why Ozen currently struggles and why Nelson was fired but the facts remain Lambert and the current AD are not the ones that broke rules, had an all out brawl after a game, and got Ozen on four years probation. Bottom line is this ALL of those things happened on Nelsons watch and it is hard for me to believe that a district full of new administrators and new board would entertain bringing a guy back that created all of that if BISD is truly trying to improve there image and go in a different direction. However I put nothing past them! 

Coach Bobby McGallion was the HC at SHS in 2008.

Weather the kids are released or not makes me no difference, but say all you want to about morally right or wrong these kids are trying to be released as stated by many on this site that used common sense because Briles has been fired and the future of success in the program left with him. This topic has been out there for months about Baylor but not one kid that signed a NLI asked to be released or decided to back out of there agreement until Briles was fired. If Baylor would have gotten rid of the President, AD, Assistant AD, and kept the staff intact with no post season punishment I PROMISE you there would be not one kid trying to get out of a signed legal document. Sometimes in life things are not fair and you either man up or you don't!

First of all PAM and Central will probably not be open next year, but if they are its because both of those coaches will choose to leave on there own terms. Secondly you seam to have a personal ax to grind with the current AD, but if you really want to get down to it, it's the HR departments call as well as the superintendent as to the time frame that BISD hires. That has nothing to do with the AD! 

Regardless of if they sit out a year or not Baylor can still dictate which schools they give these student athletes that signed a NLI with Baylor permission to play for! 

Big time commitment!  

It's a darn shame that BISD doesn't have a coach in place by now for the Ozen kids and staff. I however don't blame the AD, but I blame the superintendent and all the 250 assistant superintendents. If you wanna save some $ how bout get rid of about 248 of them. Apparently the Slappy administration doesn't know how important a HFC is to a campus! The kids deserve better!

Define Proven Head Coach?

Moreaux was at Central before he went to HJ. Both times he moved for personal/family reasons. Good kid. I have known him since the 4th grade and he is a good player and person.

I really don't think either Hudson or Martin will be anywhere next year except Waco. When you sign with a college, only that college can release them to another university. Why would Baylor do that. These young men didn't sign with Art Briles, they  signed with Baylor. It would be no different if Briles would have gotten an NFL job. Even if Baylor were to release any of there signees they definitely wouldn't release them to a conference rival.
