Great game last night.
Carthage's pitcher made one mistake and that HR was a bomb. I know from the end of last year and their game 3 loss to WOS in the semis to now Carthage felt that this was about to be their year.  They were returning their entire team from that WOS series. 
They had their chances but McMillan was just too dominate. He is a beast.

You are right about the number of fans.  It appeared yesterday that Joaquin and Lovelady pretty much filled the stands.  LCM and Jasper would overflow the place.  But If LCM wants to do home and home.......

I agree. Jasper has a nice stadium. I enjoyed playing there. I really don't think it will fit LCM and Jasper fans at one time if we played y'all at home. We bring a large crowd. I did speak to some Jasper fans that were rooting for us to beat Silsbee. I'm assuming y'all have some type of rivalry between each other the way they spoke.

I think Lovelady and Joaquin are also playing there at 1:00 so yes, they are stacking them in.  BC/WOS better hope for no extra inning games!  It is surreal to me that all those schools are driving to Jasper.

When this team finds their center it will be something to see. This was how it should be when they are on point.  Dangerously good and almost impossible to stop when hitting beyond the arc.

Well, yes it appeared that Jasper did try to run with Silsbee.  It even worked at times.  But clearly not often enough.  An amazing game.  Don't think that I ever saw two teams both running like that.  But Jasper had nothing to lose.  I think it gave Jasper some good experience to get ready for district.  In spite of getting soundly whipped, it was still a fun game to watch.

I'm considering sitting on Silsbee's side tomorrow night. If i eat crow, I like to do it in person.

1 day and a few hours to game time, it will be hard to focus tomorrow at work. It will be a good chilly night for some Tiger soup. As long as we minimize mistakes and play our game defensively, we will be OK. I have enjoyed reading and responding to comments on SETX, even though football was not always the conversation. Like I have said before, I will be on here to congratulate your team either way. The Silsbee fans have not personally attacked me, and I have respect for the manner in which you have conducted yourself.....who knows, maybe you just ignored all my posts. Lol Either way it turns out tomorrow, either team has a tremendous amount to be proud of. There are too many teams that would like to be playing playoff football still, we both knocked off 2 teams that have made runs to the championship game that would like a chance at making it back to the big game. You are so very right.  Silsbee is not Navasota.  I saw Navasota last week, and saw Silsbee last night.  I think Silsbee is quite a bit more physical than Navasota in their play, and appear to be at least as fast.  Carthage well may win, but it will not be a walk in the park.

Silsbee vs EC turned out to be pretty exciting also!

That Kid played almost every snap game in and game out for Jasper. He did everything in his power to help them win games

This is only an indirect comparison but it might have some relevancy for the strength of Silsbee's offense.  Jasper played both Navasota and Silsbee.  Jasper somehow induced Navasota to punt on its very first possession.  Silsbee's first punt against Jasper came late in the third quarter.  It would not surprise me to see Silsbee run wild on anybody's defense.  Now Silsbee's defense, Mr. Dove will get some yards.
