Are there pictures of the Visitors stands?

That really looks nice. Probably better than our concrete stands. They tend to be rough after awhile.

I think in the last few years we paid off the last bonds. There is no LCM merger talk. That will have to come from the State and who knows when they will make that decision. I just want us to make a decision and stick to it. We spent a ton of money on our old Middle school and now we don't use it. We spent alot of money on Bancroft and now we don't use it either.

Or maybe WO-S runs the wrong ball play as the clock runs out to win by 1.

You always ask for more than you really need. We need updates for sure. I may have missed it but I wonder how long the bonds are for? That seems like a pretty big tax increase.

Does anyone know what the PONY rule is on kids playing up during fall ball? I got an answer last year but it seems as though it may havve changed. I'm talking about playing up from Pinto to Mustang in this case.

A new school would have to be built. If you look at the distance from all of the schools there's no way to bus the kids that far. That's why you can't include Mauriceville in the LC and WO-S merger. I'm not sure merging schools to come up with a really big school is what is needed anyway. I think it's more of a financial and logistics issue. What we really need is one County school board. Look how big BISD is and even HISD. But for whatever reason Orange County needs to have 5 school districts and boards and Superintendents. It just doesn't make sense to me.

If they ever do merge, and one would think that it will happen one day, in my opinion it will be BC and Orangefield, WO-S and LC, Vidor and Mauriceville. I'm not sure how it would work merging schools in two different counties. One thing is almost certain, it will have to be done by the State. The two schools will never do it themselves.

WOS has 3 on 3 the first day of pads. If you've never seen it you should go and watch. That's something that will get anyone fired up for football season.

I just don't see how it is Chip's responsibility when he is the head coach of the team. How is he supposed to manage a game, and make sure no one is smuggling in alcohol at the same time.

Plus, the drinking that was taking place was on the opposite side of where the stands are. People were parked on the visiting side, and didn't have to pay or be searched by the police. It was the Lake Charles fans and players that were responsible for drinking.

He has to be ultimately responsible. If not him directly then he has to put someone in a position to be responsible. Put up baracades and make everyone come in the gate where the stands are. It really isn't that hard. If he owns the team or coaches the team it would seem that this would be a simple problem to solve. He must have some problem solving skills. Are you saying he is only responsible for the people that are fans of his team?

I can understand that LC-M may not want the Demons at their facilities, perhaps for the same reasons WO-S doesn't---drinking, trash, etc.  However, to say the name "Demons" doesn't fit with their Christian community is a little farfetched.  LC-M is a public school as is WO-S.  I wonder if the Wahington Redskins would be able to play there and how in the world do they allow the PN-G Indians there. I think they should change their name to the PN-G Native Americans and until they do they shouldn't be allowed to play at LC-M.

I agree. It appears that he takes no responsibility for anything. He says he can't control the trash or control all of the people that come in the gate. It wouldn't take long to make people open a bag to check it. Thanks Coach Hooks for making someone take responsibility.

Orange has a zero tolerance plicy. If you put your hands on someone else, (push, shove or hit) you are banned from the board and from coaching for life. You can still come to the park and be a parent but if there is any other incident you will be banned from the park.

I think PONY has a zero tolerance on this also. If I'm not mistaken they will step in. They go by their "Blue Book" and I think it will say one or both of these people will be banned for life. As I understand it, it will depend on if one was just defending off an attack or was it a full out fight. Time will tell but I bet PONY steps in.

What do you want me to say?  "Great job RIders"?   That's just not a real interesting read when everyone says the same thing.  It just seems at some point in the season(like maybe when they were 20-3, they would have stepped it on up to open ball(or whatever it's called at that age)
