Whats funny about us, is that if we win by 6 we are still disappointed. We are the MUSTANGS. We won tonight just like we have always done in the past of close games. LCM will have excuses, we WON!! Hail Mary, shmell mary. It was a designed play. Yes, LCM played like they were posesed, but I hope they realize that we played like crap! Whats sad is that we turned the ball over so many times and still won. BOJO.

I haven't heard anyone from LCM make any excuses. "We played like crap"???? I'm not so sure I saw the same game. They both played pretty good under the conditions.

The scoreboard is pretty cool and i like most of the graphics and stuff they try to do on it... but when that noise sounds off... its awful and embaressing. 

I agree about the bear growl. However, you have to give them credit for their fans supporting them. I did like how they made the first down call.  ;D

Reports have the LC offense WAY in the negative yards.

I was at this game and it was ugly. The refs were not very good for either side. It was total domination by WOS and thats about as nice as I can put it.

I truly hope the varsity plays better tonight.

we were at the JV game  and were sitting with friends from  lc-m and this was brought up  more than once belive me.lc-m has a very good chance to make the playoffs this  year and i wish them the best but will be hard with out salter.

Why do you say this? They didn't play well last weekend. I hope they do make the playoffs. I want all of the teams in Orange County to make them.

You got a good point! but until you guys make a district run, not a play off run, but a district then you can trash ozen all you want "b/c you first have to make a run for a winning season before you guys can ever start talking play offs..."But hey I totally understand if beating Ozen was the highlight of the year...

LCM and ozen shoudl be an interesting game this year. LCM and PNG will also be interesting. Keep those seats BBDad. I may want to see one of those games

You should hear the entrance music they come into this year.  I am sure you will hear some complaints throughout the year from the visitors.  But I think it sounds pretty cool.

I just want to see what they exit to. This weekend they should que up whatever that music is that the Undertaker (from WWE) enter to!

Walk through the schools at WOS as I do every single morning. See the kids that didn't get enough sleep or a good nights sleep. See the kids that are crying. You have no idea and I can only imagine what they went through the night before or the morning before school. See the kids that just want a hug. For all I know it may be the only positive attention they get all day. I hope it's not but it just might be. I'm talking about younger kids not older.

You are absolutely right about that. He should be applauded for doing what he thiks is right. Regardless if anyone agrees with him. My issue is with his statement that the kidsw at LCM have God given talent after high school. Saying that the kids from WOS don't.

There are turds everywhere. There are good kids everywhere. There are bad kids everywhere. There are smart kids everywhere. There are not so smart kids everywhere.

Once again had you read my last post you would see I am not speaking out of ignorance.  My kids were there for a number of years and I said for me it was unacceptable.  And for the state of Texas.  You can have your own standards.  And it isn't that they aren't "at the top of the list" as you said.  It is that they are nearly dead last.  It has nothing to do with race.  Obviously I do not believe that.  I also believe it has very little to do with socioeconomic issues as you suggested.  In my opinion both of these are easy copouts for a district that is not getting the job done.

I would suggest those of you defending the WOS district have not researched the test scores or you would be sickened by the job the district is doing to help those children.  As far as being part of the problem or part of the solution.  I was not willing to allow my children to be martyrs, and receive what I deemed to be a substandard education while I fought to improve things for the next generation.  If you feel that is your calling then hats off to you.

Your children may have gone to school at WOS but you have no idea what goes on. Do you really think socioeconomics has nothing to do with it? My kids go to school at WOS and I'll put their scores up against anyones. I'm not saying they are smarter or better than anyone, I'm just saying that the education is just as good. What you are able to learn during the day just might have something to do with how you spent your night and your morning.

As an LCM fan and parent, I support Coach Moody and his players 100%!  However, if I am to be completely honest, when the "bojo" slogan came to light... i cringed a little.   Good luck to both teams...  God bless.

Alot of the things said between LCM and WOS are out of spite. That's part of what makes the cross town rivalry.

caney creek was a quarter finalist last year, they had like 15 starters back, so even though LC-M lost to Caney Creek, that isnt a death sentence for LC-M

LC-M scheduled CC and WOS to prepare for a district run, instead of scheduling 3 pushover teams

WOS is a great team, well coached, lots of athletes, and i would hope they dont think they are going to come into LC-M's house and push them around

no matter who wins i think this year will be as exciting as it has been in a while

win or lose, i think LC-M will send a message friday night

WOS doesn't think that they are a push over. They will come in prepared.

That is the kind of coach that builds Champions. Call out the ones that need to step up. Good luck Dayton. I know with a coach like that, you will be putting in the work needed to get the job done.

It's not about WOS filling the stands, It's about watching them leave early in the 4th quarter because they will be losing.

Actually, it does matter who is thunder.  Thunder is just a lot a noise and has never hurt anyone.

As for the lack of seats on the visitor's side.... don't worry TD, I have a seat for you and Coach Dave right beside me on the 50 yard line!  You might as well splurge on that green/gold shirt... we both know you will be wearing one before JD graduates.
