It’s no disrespect to Huffman. Carthage HC Surratt Is the best in the business the last time LCM went 10-0 he was coaching at LCM. It’s crazy we let him slip away. Good luck to y’all. I truly don’t know what type ofBears show up Friday night.
I wish y'all had kept him down south lol.

Welcome to D10 Coach Riordan. A really strong district just got stronger.

isnt that the date of the next board meeting at ch?
Idk...but it would be a great hire for CH if it is true.

From what I have seen over the last 5 years the 4AD1 teams from SETX just do not match up athletically with ET. Im not sure why. Maybe it is just cyclical. Btw, that Van-Henderson game is going to be 4 quarters of knock down, drag out football.

This was just not a good matchup for Lumberton. Henderson had a clear athletic advantage and Lumbertons one dimensional offense was tailor made for Hendo's D. I give y'alls coachs credit...they knew (imo) they were over matched so they tried to shorten the game by draining the play clock...they took chances by going for it on several fourth downs...they faked a punt and recovered an onside kick to start the second half. I know it was disappointing today but nothing wrong with making it a couple rounds into the playoffs. Keep working hard and next year maybe the results will be different. One more thing...95% of the Lumberton fans stayed to the very end of the game...kudos.

21-0 Lions
Halftime
I bet Lumberton had the ball for 17 minutes in the first half.

Lumberton offense eats up a lot of clock.

Safe travels and good luck (but not too much good luck lol) to our friends from Lumberton. Go get'em Lions!

Henderson is 6-0 in rd 2 this decade. They make it 7-0 Friday. Lumberton plays hard but Lions take this one something like 31-17.

I'm showing 50% chance at kickoff. Little bit of rain on good field turf should not make a difference for either team assuming Henderson will still be going with 12 at QB.
I think Nac HS is a grass field but I am not sure.

Should make it very interesting!
Rain could be beneficial to Lumberton although I dont expect either team to be airing it out. I think Henderson threw the ball 12x against Crandall and I would expect a similar number Friday.

Lumberton-Henderson Friday.
Splendora-Van Saturday.
Maybe Huffman-Carthage.

60% chance of rain after lunch Friday.

L-Town by 1+. Somebody keep the board updated Friday, I have to work. Wish retirement would hurry up and get here.
I hear you on the retirement. Got another 10 years

From what I understand Lumberton likes to pound the rock...is that right? How well do they throw the ball?
-
Henderson lost their starting QB last game of district but #12 moved from WR to QB and ran for 140 last night. #6 comes in for the wildcat also went for over 100. I think Henderson was 7/12 passing. The offense has been inconsistent this season but as another poster said Henderson does have some athletes.
-
I dont think Lumberton can just line up and run the ball down Hendersons throat. If the Raiders can not throw the ball with some success they will have a difficult time imo.

That is my understanding.

Sounds like yalls strength on defense verses our strength on offense. This will be my first time to ever see Henderson play.
Same here...never seen Lumberton.
