EC by a bunch. I look for a similar game as EC v Buna. EC's defense is legit.

He will be fine, and ready to play next week! 

That's one kid/player no one should ever question his heart for the game. Anyone who knows him or has seen him play knows that their is no one that plays with more heart and passion than Dylan Silcox!! He could barely stand up when they took him off the field, and he told the coaches he wanted back in bc he wasn't losing this game!! So talk about another player, but that's one you don't question!! 

Back to the thread topic...How 'bout them District Champion Kirybyville Wildcats!  From what I've heard about the region, it looks like it'll be a fight between our district and the Cameron/Rockdale district again to see who represents the region?  Thoughts??  I would love to see EC again in the region finals!  That would be awesome and make this Wildcat very proud of our district!

It's was a great game for 3 1/2 qtrs. Ec defense was everything I thought they would be but you just can't stay on the field against a offense  like KV and not get wore down. KV defense was the difference in the game. Very impressed and great game plan to shut down the run. Now time to get every one healthy and get ready for the playoffs. Good luck to both teams.

Both teams have taken their fair share of shots to their own foot, but EC has to figure something out offensively, easily could have this game under control...

Don't be making excuses for EC.. Kirbyville has made their share of mistakes to.

This type of game is what you live for as a coach and a player.  You know all week that you have to be on point or the other team will gain an advantage.  No matter the outcome of this game, both teams have had very respectable seasons, but this game will serve as a tune-up for the playoff run that each of them will encounter.  I would rather be playing a game that meant something in week 11 and not have a let down going into the playoffs the next week. Good luck to both teams, coaching staffs, bands, drill teams, etc as you get ready to partake in a great game with an electric atmosphere.

Definitely.  Aside from La Marque, you have the big threat from last year, La Grange. And they will be the 3rd place team out of 11-4A-II which puts Giddings and Caldwell on the radar. A team that hasn't gotten a lot of pub that scares me out of that area is Bellville. Heck even Worthing could end the season.
Are they obstacles that WO-S can get over, I absolutely think so.  But they are definitely obstacles.

Silcox will be just fine, ankle is healed up and ready to go...and don't be surprised when his name isn't the only one you hear called (More talent than the news highlights show)
