Also, Dawson was out multiple times throughout the game. He was having ankle injuries which you can tell by the way he walked in the sideline and by the tape around his Ankles. Dawson isn’t the only player for HD, as you have 11 on both sides. So your comment to Coach didn’t want him hurt is irrelevant because Dawson stayed on the sidelines for half of the offensive possessions. I’m not dissing Dawson, as he is a good running back. I’m just saying that you need to give other Running-backs credit for trying their best. Jeremiah will be a key player in this weeks running game, but as I said before, that truly depends on his attitude and if he fights during the game. He also only played in five games last season, he didn’t really do much last year on offense with Bryce Aguirre and Devante Broussard controlling most of the run game. So I’m curious to see how you know so much about Jeremiah run game capability.

    What happened to Broussard?

PNG Center has got to work out the problems with the snaps.  There were actually 16 errant snaps tonight, either off to the side or right at the ground. The quarterback did an amazing job of just trying to control the snaps. You can't tell me in the school the size of PNG that we can't find someone who can snap the ball consistently to the quarterback.  Just paint a target on the wall, at the right distance, and have the center snap the ball again and again and again so he's hitting that target every time.  Every time you miss the target you run a lap, that way when you get tired you can still snap the ball because you're used to it. I have no problem with the center's blocking, but you have to get the ball to the QB first & primarily.  These errant snaps are going to hurt us bad as the season progresses.

You can always go under center

  3. “Due” to covid? It has everything to do with it there big dog. If you’re canceling games for covid, and school is still in session, that’s not a good look at all…especially a school HD’s size. I mean if they’re having a “covid” outbreak on the football team that’s causing them to cancel games, you’d think that’d be enough to cancel school?

You're talking about Dallas area schools, and you're right on them, but what Irving, Garland, Mesquite? And then how many Houston area district are doing that? Idk what the rose tinted glasses are that I'm using, I just don't think it's necessary for you to take a shot at a group of people when there are plenty of school districts struggling in football (Aldine, Alief, among others).

You know the song “Rose colored glasses” by John Conlee? They show me the beauty, but they hide all the truth

This is true, but we have never had 75% of Baytown vote for anything.

We missed a giant opportunity to build 9th grade campuses when GCM opened. Seems like 2K people approved that bond.

But yes, there are a lot of people in Baytown that don't want to compete.

Baytown isn’t the only place like that. There a tons of schools in Texas that don’t want to win

We just added turf football, baseball, and softball fields at every high school.

We approved the construction of a new fieldhouse at Stallworth (I hope this includes paving the parking lots).

I seriously doubt we will construct indoor practice facilities for each school. Although they tried to do this at rel when they updated their weight room. I think they have a 50 yrd area inside they use.

    Is football the priority? No.

Hey it’s a step in the right direction with all of the other new facilities

I am sure the Baytown schools don't appreciate you blaming Hispanics for the "destruction" of their programs, either. You went there first, BTW.

The ball is in their court. They can very easily build state of the art football facilities like indoors, nice weight rooms, great practice facilities just like the DFW districts I mentioned that are very similar to Baytown and Pasadena size wise. The question remains is football important enough to them to do that? The answer is obviously a resounding “no”.
