Unless we send our JV, then 63 - 10

Now that's funny. I try not to do much uneducated trash talking, however... In the great words of Jim Mora..... PLAYOFFS..... Are you kidding me Lumberton..... Please hear my sarcasm.... No excuse in the world can make up for lack of talent.... Numbers don't lie.. Lumberton is a loser year in year out.... Except for their junior league programs now and again..... Kinda funny I'd say. I guess it's easier to build a team at that level... I've come to the realization that Nederland has our number... But....... If Lumberton starts winning district games on a regular basis I'm going to take up sewing.... In China...... I don't think Vince Lombardi could help that situation out. And for the posts on coaching... Please quit saying Credeur is a PNG phenom... Not the case.... However he did take these folk to the playoffs. That's a dam miracle in itself.. Then they got rid of him......
  2. Guys here is the straight scoop. And some things never change... Your not the man till you beat the man..... And at this time Ned is the man. Neumann has a knack for pulling sh$t out of his hat. Prime example is vs PNG a few times over the last several years.. Ned will be ready to play, and honestly as weak as the district is nobody has been tested yet. End of the year look for Central, PNG, Ned, and another to be in the playoffs.. After that get ready for hunting season, because nobody is going deep. Central has a shot just like everyone else.... What they do with it is the question.. Look for Nederland to play smart and hope Central makes mistakes that Ned can capitalize on. If that happens it's anyone's ball game. If it's a sloppy game I'm sure the score might get ugly.... But...... Don't count out Larry Neumann.
  3. Didn't say Ozen was relevant oldtimer just don't expect them to rollover an accept defeat easily. The cats gone come to play 0-0 records first district game on the line. Neither team can afford to lose this one if they play on making playoffs. This district is hard to look at since iom if look a weee bit bottom heavy after what I saw Thursday and Friday night. This game could be for the fourth playoff spot and really don't know if winless Vidor's going to have some say in all this just saying

    Ozen by 14....

  4. A Copy of the investigative report between Ned w and bmt g soon to be posted so you can all see what a joke the stjfl board really is and why everyone is upset.

All of this takes care of itself on Friday Nights. I was a board member for the STJFL for 3 years, ended in 07. Back then Lumberton won several senior Super Bowls.... Well guess what, those kids graduated last year, and Im sure Lumberton was not a dominating team in the district. The STJFL is setup to teach kids how to play football. What happens is that the rules that are in place get bent because of parents. Not the kids or the STJFL. Its the local leagues you should have issues with. If a team is LOADED, I assure you the STJFL didnt draft it. We played WOS every year and got our butts handed to us... We didnt like it, but I always told the kids, we are not going to be intimidated by WOS.... I didnt like it, but you know what it all worked itself out last year when PNG beat WOS. Nobody remembers what little Johnny did in Jr. League football. But everyone remembers what Johnny did on Friday night.  Now I agree that the board members might not be what your looking for, however, rules are rules, and I assure you the STJFL has the BEST rules of any local Jr. League around... If all the concern was on teaching kids how to play football vs wins and losses, guess what???? It would all take care of itself on Friday nights...........

  5. I have the 1989 PN-G Nederland game on VCR tape i got to get it converted to dvd.

You have got to get a copy of that.. Ted was awesome....... It helped Danny Malone was the man................... Mcgill. Bost, Gizzi, Droddy, Hart, Robertson, Gordan, Carpenter twins, man that was some good times....

  6. I am a graduate of PNG and played football and baseball for them. I am old school and believe in what Joe Paterno said when asked about why he never change the style of their uniforms. He said " we don't need to look all snazzy and glamorous to come out here and kick your arse ". Sorry I am old school and believe tradition does not change. That is what tradition is. Look at my name and figure it out.

Im going to guess you played in the mid 80s?

  7. It won't be warm lol, the game will be over by halftime. I would like to make a wager on that 6-0 shutout loss too.smh make it light on yourself. I have an extra ticket come sit with me so I can throw my peanut shells on you and laugh as you have to listen to Cherokee every other play. Lol

Seems like you are not happy unless we are hangin half a hundred......... :D
