You are exactly right. Neumann has owned him and will continue unless he gets it figured out... We seem to have a revolving door of coaches, which in my opinion is not a good thing.... My hope is that we can adjust to what Neumann throws down on us.. If BF can make a good adjustment, it's a no brainer that PNG can win... But all the talent in the world can't get it done if your out of position... I will say that this is the best our defense has been coached up in the last 4 years..... But your correct, WOS changed it up, and as usual, we didn't, and the outcome is well, what the outcome was.... Only time will tell... Gonna be a good game regardless...

And they are griping about PNG having Oregon uniforms... Looks like Big Ned has one for each day....

With all that being said.. Im sure turnovers will be a important part of the outcome.... My opinion, if PNG jumps on top and Nederland has to play catch up..... PNG wins..... If Nederland makes it a slobberknocker and keeps it close Nederland wins..... My thoughts are simple. If it comes down to a few minutes left and coaching comes in the equation.. My money goes with Neumann.  If its a high scoring air it our night and PNG is up by a few scores, my money is with PNG. Neither team has played a great schedule. It will come down to mental mistakes and turnovers.... Neumann will have something up his sleeve as he always does.. PNG struggled against WOS and a running quarterback. So if SS channels his inner Trevin Sonnier than it will be a long night...... If Krautz and Seay play defense and can stop the pass it will be a long night.  But if they are unable to and wear down it might be a long night for them... If Nederland cannot stop the passing attack, it will be a long night for Ned...

Just to clarify my earlier post.... Ignorant comments get arrogant remarks.. If you insinuate that PNG has better facility's and we are still weak... I just stated the obvious... We have better facility's.... You insinuated we are rich punks with Oregon style uniforms... I just stated.... Your correct, plus yours are bland..... You also insinuated Nederland is far superior..... I stated records prove different...... Here's the deal.... All the newbie internet thumpers only remember the Neumann era... We'll guess what before him, Nederland was a bottom feeder year in year out.... That's not arrogance... That's fact..... Neumann is the best coach in the district.... Bar none.... I have said it for years.... But don't get your little collar in a tiff when I respond to a negative post with another.. Honestly, I think Nederland could very well win the game.... But remarks about the field, the uniforms, etc, is funny to me. Are you insinuating we should lower our standards? No you where insinuating money can't buy us wins.... What I'm Stating, is that the record shows we have plenty of them.... So, if you would like to live in the past, let's do it.... But you want to live in only the Neumann era, that's fine..... You win that argument. But if we live in the present, it's about now.......

NED might be penalized for 12 men on the field Friday night.  NED has been doing this all year, heck for many years with no flags flying???  PNG may need to know about this before MCM.  Think it would be fair to say something now.  Larry Neumann is there with his team every play, not really fair for the opponent.  There is one thing to understand:  These NED players have never known NED without Neumann.  Most of these players have grown up in NED and have only wanted to play for football for this man and his program (our recruits have bought in as well, even though we don’t have the Oregon PNG facilities and uniforms).  This is not just a team but a family with a wise daddy.

 

On paper, PNG is better, but in a backyard brawl like MCM, this one goes to the Dogs. Faircloth might want to call Toby Keith Foreman and ask him about Neumann singing, ‘How do you like me now?’ after the game last Friday night in the middle of the field after the game.

 

Might not be as high scoring as I predicted, but NED by less than a TD late.

I think Neumann is a great coach....Just imagine what he could do if he didnt have to play on a junk field with a depleted fieldhouse, some old dingy, boring uniforms, ugly helmets, and a crowd that barked like a bunch of dogs, bulldogs a that. Heck he might even be mad that his school didnt have any pride or tradition until he started coaching there 20 years ago... Times change, people change, names change, but some things dont...... Not to be a bearer of bad news, but that's all we have had to do after the first round over the last 4 years.... Maybe we should just consolidate. Call ourselves the PNNG Boomerangs... Colors could be Pink and silver.. And we could be like Oregon and change it up every week.... Now this outta stir the crowd..... Lol

Wow. Investigative reporting at Its finest... Word around the water cooler is that Neumann is installing a totally new oopty ewww offense and it has Krautz playing as the QB. Seay will be starting at linebacker and they will run the 50 all night and funnel everything his way. So the tweet is basically saying he is looking forward to watching the offense while he is playing defense..... Also word from PA news is that after the next 2 weeks Seay will be honored with the offensive and defensive player of the year award, along with the Willie Ray Smith award, and 1rst team QB and LB. Other sources state Neumann will go into retirement after the season due to unwanted stress from all of these unauthorized tweets. NISD Is in The process of hiring Mark Zuckerburg to devise a plan for future tweets to only be broadcasted over NISD areas as well as the PAISD recruited areas so that leaks will not happen again. In the meantime PNGISD is petitioning the state to see these tweets once they are broadcasted due to copyright infringements. Watch ESPN tonight for further updates.....

To me the most awesome thing about it is this.... Take all the moaning from both sides and consider this..... No other rivalry even compares to MCM...... Period...... So that my friends.... From both Ned and PNG.... Is something we can all be proud of.......

I heard through the grapevine that Neumann has his own recruiting office at the ShIre... Word is Fairclothe hangs at the car wash in Lumberton and sends his recruiter to HF on every other weekend. Nederland booster club is working OT to make the ends meet... Fairclothe just shows pics of the stadium and field house... Plus he gives away a deluxe wash to interested party's... And that my friends is your Outdoor Report.........

Correct. As I posted earlier, the district in General is weak... To be the man you have to beat the man.... Nederland is currently the man.... All of the years of stats mean absolutely nothing. We all know who comes out on top of those numbers... It's about this year... I do not think there is much separation between the 2 teams. I do think Nederland has by far the best staff in the district.. And I do trust that they will have a excellent gameplay.. I can only hope that PNG has the same excellent gameplay and is able to adjust to whatever might be thrown at them... And I'm sure it will come down to whoever makes less mistakes.... Just a good hard fought game in the BEST rivalry in Texas.... Until then I will talk no trash against the Bulldogs. But if we can pull out a win for the first time in a long time.... I might not shut up..... What Nederland has done the past few years is awesome... We will see......

I'm chuckling at Mr. Moselys comments throughout this post... I for one do not know how long you have been around this rivalry.. However going back 20 years is almost funny.. Let's just pick a couple of years.... Come on man..... YES in the last 20 Neumann has owned us... And unlike a few others I have a smart enough football IQ to realize how and why we lose. Last year, simply put, we couldn't adjust to a simple defense... Our fault, our loss.... A few years back Trevon Sonnier ran the wildcat to perfection.... Our loss..... The one in between we just got beat by a better team.. Nederland is well coached.. To me the best staff in the district... Bar none.... My amusement is in all of you guys that don't remember when Nederland was the laughing stock of the district year In year out.... Yes just ask your local heros... Maybe even your offensive coordinator.. He will surely remember. Records from past years mean absolutely Nothing to me... If you want to bring them up that's fine... I'm sure overall PNG will win out in every category... Makes for boring internet amusement. The facts are this... It's a great rivalry.... I've played in it, my son has played in it, and I hope my grandson plays in it. So as far as arrogance, trust me there is plenty of that on both sides... But as far as tradition..... That runs deep...... So please don't mistake one for the other.... Should you be proud of what Nederland has done in the last 20 years yes...... And I'll try not to mistake it for Arrogance......
