Well I've heard a lot of rumors.  Not sure it's just the water.  I DO know HC Chad Worrell is a big part of it.  He was an assistant coach at Celina in their 2 titles 2005 and 2007.

Here's a fun fact!  West Orange-Stark now has an all-time winning percentage of 79.81%... our highest ever.  Most historians require 500 games played to be considered "worthy" of being listed and we are currently 368-92-3.  463 games played.  If we lose the next 37 games to hit 500 we'd still be top 6 at 73.9%.  Chances are though we'll vault into #1 in 3 or 4 years.

42-0?! wow...  Foster almost beat them... lost 28-35.  Making our loss to Foster not look so bad.

Just got back from it.  Was awesome!  I was told to send congrats from all my friends from Cuero, Sinton, Sweetwater, Bellville, La Marque, Giddings, La Vega and Wimberley...  I probably missed some but those were just a few of the awesome football fans sitting on our side.  Oh... and Lamar Consolidated who had people there early for the George Ranch game.

This is quite funny. I was the one who used the term "watered down" and my point in the original post was that WOS won their State Titles both when the playoffs WEREN'T as watered down AND in a larger classification, UNLIKE Gilmer, Navasota and Celina so you are essentially backing up my opinion. WE have as many as Navasota, are one game away from having as many as Gilmer and have more than all 3 combined in the 2nd largest classification in the state (which would be zero for them).  And that was before it got watered down and divided into two divisions each and when only 2 teams total went to the playoffs per district.  ;p  Celina did everything in Class B and 2A except for one title in 3A in '07.  We can compare quite well to all of them.  Again... this isn't an Ozen thread.  Go back to the basketball forum.

Don't get me wrong, I support all SE Texas programs and wish the best for all of them but if you're gonna throw jabs at WOS it's infinitely easier to throw jabs right back.

WOS has nothing to be embarrassed about.  They've won 61 games in the last 5 seasons (Top 15 in the State out of all classifications), made three Quarterfinal appearances and two State Final appearances in those five years and lost to 3 State Champions and worst case scenario we'll lose to a 4th. No team anywhere closer to us than Katy can tout the same.  Deal with it.
