  1. They're currently 2-2, run the Wing-T and are known for having a pretty high-powered offense putting up some big numbers the past few seasons. This year they haven't been putting up the 60 and 70 points per game that they have previously. Week 1 BYE Week 2 beat Terrell 21-20 Week 3 lost to Alvarado 14-21 Week 4 beat 5A Wichita Falls Rider 34-27 Week 5 lost to 5A Whitehouse 21-34 90 points scored, 102 points allowed They really like to run the ball which is good news for WOS. Kennedale was averaging 46 passing yards per game and 327 rushing yards per game going into their game last night. Click Here for Game History ---> Kennedale - Quarterfinals 2001, 2003, 2005
  2. Geez can Friday night please be over already? Kennedale has scored 69 points and allowed 68 in three games against teams with no defense like WOS. Let's get past Silsbee first.
  3. i corrected that weeks ago. Try refreshing the spreadsheet next time you load it. You may just be seeing what's saved in your cache. I'm also going through and updating quite a few of the 4A Histories, morso on my main site but I completed all of Division 2 Region III for all teams going back at least to 1980 if not all the way to the beginning and just completed all of Tyler Chapel Hill, El Campo, Bay City, Sealy, Stafford and West Columbia back to the start tonight so keep an eye open for future updates.
  4. Kennedale won 21-20, lost 14-21 and is winning 34-20 tonight playing 3 pretty good teams
  5. Untili/When I see everyone at a sports bar standing up and placing their hand on their heart during the anthem... 1. I would be scared to death that I was having a nightmare about living in North Korea and 2. I would choose to do whatever I please as is the right of the players. There's nothing in any of their contracts requiring them to do as such and prior to 2009?(not sure of the year) the teams weren't even out on the field when the anthem played so it (and in my rightfully US Bill of Rights opinion) shouldn't matter. The Sourh Park premiere last night had me laughing regarding the topic.
  6. I for one am never overconfident. Heck the win over BC was their first win as an AP #1 since 1989. We were 0-3 since then. WOS doesn't handle having a target on them very well.
  7. Yeah that's a 17.7% win percentage and they beat Scarborough and Caney Creek more than once. Hey I'm all for teams doing well. I applaud Porter and wish them the best. Not knocking anyone other than maybe a grumpy Crosby but hey, WOS got knocked off by Newton in '14 and see what happened since then? We've gone 29-2.
  8. Last time WOS started a season with 3 shutouts was 1998,. Silsbee threw a wrench in there in bi-district. Not to hijack the thread but the point is the games are played for a reason. Anything can happen.
  9. Wow! Ummmm... grats to Crosby on becoming the 7th team ever to lose to Porter in their storied history including the likes of Houston Scarborough, Caney Creek, Sam Rayburn, Galena Park, Brazosport and Huntington bringing Porter's All-Time winning percentage up to 17%. Go Porter!

  12. The coaches agreed teams wouldn't shake hands after game.. that's what that was about
  13. That makes 14 consecutive quarters with no points scored on us dating back to the 1st Quarter of the state finals last year.
  14. Argyle 27, Celina 0 HALF Looks like Gilmer/Jasper could be the teams to beat in Region 2 if Celina keeps that up....
