I don't know who this 06 guy is but he's a wise fella. and by the way not as many people on this football site anymore did they move on.

Everyone knew with Crosby never being this far and Cedar Park having a state title that Crosby would be called the underdog, but as everyone has seen playoffs are never like people believe they will turn out. I believe Crosby will win this game. They will come out and play their hearts out. They have a chance to make history for their town. They are playing with pride right now and pride can take you a long way. 
 
With both teams having good defense it will be close.

There was a moderator abusing his power and defacing people from Crosby's profile but they couldn't do the same to his. He pm' him to express his thoughts and was subsequently banned. This was only happening to Crosby people and it was for less than what other poster's actions covered. There's more credence given to the "we'll win because we have heart" theory, or the "this is what we do" approach instead of actually using some type of statistical analysis to form opinions which exactly why people outside of this region laugh at most of us. Some people from the SETX area are still living in the glory days.

If the Crosby players don't buy into the Cedar Park hype they'll have a great shot. If they buy into the hype they're already beat before they show up. That mental aspect can be a booger....don't eat the booger!!!!!!!!

I Believe Crosby can get it done,so far they've been on top,not having to come from behind.Coogs will have to play well,and they have{ Igained 5 lbs bettin so I'm in for 1 bet w/BG Pappadeaux;s you know the menu :D

Well this ought to be a no brainer. Triple threat on offense graduated, 15 or so underclass men as starters and playing vital roles including freshman and soph RB's, 1 Soph WR and WR / QB Junior, 2 LB / S Junior, CB Soph, well balanced offense, bend but don't break Defense that has been lights out (but according to Austin Statemen is suspect, I suspect they hire idiots over there), no returning skill position SR starters on offense but very good leaders, not ranked in the state, heck maybe in the area, but yet have somehow defied the odds and sit perched atop the area one game away from the Holy Grail of Texas High School football. So, I ask two simple questions, why not Crosby coaches and do you have your cowbells ( sorry 02 only had one question but thought it would be a little more entertaining adding your second one). I know y'all hate on us humble Coogs a time or two and I know down deep some of you really do wish us good luck on the quest for a ring but can any of you think of a more deserving staff then the Crosby leaders. Man to be a fly on the wall in that first off season meeting would have been cool. Cause I can speculate what I believe was said is this: Well guys we lost 90 % of our offense and gave up a ton of points so how we gonna compete next year and to a man the response was probably well Coach will win with three things: a hardcore off season regimen, newfound leadership, and vision. A vision to instill in these young men that if you buy into the program and become a family any thing is possible. Now where's the dominoes pizza guy!! First, I talked to some CP parents and there were no grade or any issues except over confident that being said we must've posted at the same time PAM cause I was asking a serious question as to a neutral viewpoint cause of course I have mine ( a little biased) so I wasn't trying to blast anyone just wanted to see if I saw something different.

How much more is really left to say about the 2014 Cougars? Crosby(13-1) will try to take out perrenial contender Cedar Park(11-3) for a shot to play for a state title. I figure the thread will provide enough information so I'll just ask the two questions that really need to be answered. Why not Crosby? . . . Do you have you cowbell?
