I believe BC is 0 and 1 against them. But thats not going to be a factor LCM is winning the series against  BC and it didn't help us last night with BC is much improved. Im going to stay local and take a Orange County Team. I think BC should win by 14pts.  Good Luck BC

They were as good as expected. Their QB is unbelievable. Running, passing, returning kicks. I heard he even drives the bus to away games. They never gave up. They capitalized on a few of our costly mistakes. They still have 3 more tough games, but it's not hard to imagine them winning the district if they stay healthy.  

I think it will be more of a surprise if Jasper DOESN"T turn it around....

That type of offense gives Jasper fits . Half the time we didn't know where the ball was but they didn't give up . Capitaliz on few of bc mistakes 

It wouldn't hurt my feelings to see Bridge City pull this one out. But I feel like Jasper will win it by 10.

Be glad you have sound. BC has a pair of portable speakers on the track on the home side.  Nothing for the visitors. 

yes the Tigers got an unsportsmanlike penalty to end any doubt about running no the clock out but there was only 40.7 seconds left and Huffman had a 3rd and long Tigers had no timeouts left so clock would have run out after that third down play.

WOS 47-18, I reckon the run game will be better on Friday. Just going out on a limb with that in the "Which Fanbase Has The Most Sensitive Fans Bowl"……

Actually, come May ours kids will be graduating and leaving for college while all of Newton's kids will be preparing for a promising future in the pulpwood industry.  
 
In fact, I have it on good record that the reason Newton lost to BC is because somebody said that Bridge City would be a good test for Newton this fall, but all the Newton players heard was the word "TEST" and gave up

I understand. Good luck in trouncing those other small schools. Just be happy that your route through the playoffs goes through a bunch of tiny schools, and learn to live with the fact that you can't hang with the bigger schools in your own back yard. Face it. Everybody knows that Newton has a great record against far-flung tiny schools, but in reality y'all are just playing in the JV league come playoff time  when compared with the rest of southeast football. If you like to crow about the wins, then be ready to accept the losses.

the game itself was actually very good-natured. The only personal fouls I recall were on us, and warranted. The Indians played a clean game without a lot of garbage at all. 
In fact, the Indians played one heck of a good game. They fought hard until the bitter end, and had some FANTASTIC blocking for their runners in the open field.  Hats off to Cleveland.  
 
The fight wasn't much of a fight.  A lot of yelling and shirt tugging by a couple of guys until security broke it up.  One guy got kicked out.  Somebody cursing too much in front of somebody's family, allegedly.
