To the LG fans, I admire the way you guys boast about your one man team. He is talented we can all see that. The WOS football team has an all American on their roster. He will be the first to tell you that he and his crew are a unit.  We know how great he is yet you will not hear us say that he will be the deciding factor to win this game. He will show you his skills on Friday night for sure. The players that your QB should really look out for before ,or if Dobbins or #5 gets the ball is # 57, #54, #53, #42, #52,#50 your boy Dobbins can’t out run all these guys, they are  lean, mean,  quick wrecking machine. These guys will put the helmet on anyone who is wearing gold and purple this Friday night. I would like to hear how good your QB is though?

So far tonight the weather man said here in Houston there is only a 30% chance of rain on Friday. For those of us who live here that does not mean that it will rain everywhere in the area. Conroe may not get any rain at all.

You honestly can not compare this mustang team to any other team in the recent 4 years. They cleary can't beat the last year's team nor the team the year before that. They have an easier road than anyother year. But I just think that this is their best chance to do something. This team have a lot of 3 year starters and shall be able to overcome adversity and pull away with the win by 2 td's. Go stangs. 
 
I think that they have peaked late where as in the past, they team peaked early and made few adjustments. This year  they are peaking at the right time. I also believe that our passing game is much better than  last year. The guys are catching more passes  than they did last year even though we have some of the same players.  Just IMO.

This is setxsports.com sports forum. This is our site. This is where HJ and WOS fans get together and talk sports. I Didn't see one classless post from an HJ fan. And bottom line, we stick together against any school that isn't from our area. If that offends you, you should probably leave the site.

We couldn't throw the ball downfield because they had their safeties playing over the top. They were not going to allow the deep pass. We still tried, but it wasn't going to happen. In the second half, we took what they gave us and shredded them on the ground since they were set on committing 4 to 5 players to pass coverage.... See, that's what it means to NOT be one dimensional. You take one away we get you with the other. LM chose to limit our passing attack... and we're fine with that, because we have a stable of backs and will run it down your throat if you commit to much to the pass.

No one will intentionally try to hurt anyone. But he better strap it on tight because the Stangs WILL bring the hat!!! It will be a physical game.

WOS shouldn't be caught up into how opposing fans from other teams imply that they should tackle their team. I say come out WOS and make your presence known, jump on them quick like HJ did, contain, and TEMPO TEMPO TEMPO. !

I've had my eye on Sweetwater since about mid-season. I'm not real sure what the competition is in REg1 but they are smoking teams. I have a feeling they will give region 2 all they want in the semis. Looks like Yoakum in reg 4 will make some noise and ATL/Gilmer a both dangerous in reg 2. I'm not sure who Newton faces going forward but looks like IF WOS can make a run they will have to play some dang good teams. No cupcakes left gentlemen. (And ladybug). If Wos plays with the fire they had Friday I like their chances. My main concern is a letdown game. I.e. *Newton after RF. Have to keep the kids focused. LG is gonna be a battle.

(ITS ROUND FOUR) -------------IT SEEMS LIKE THIS NUMBER HAS BEEN THE END FOR THE KIDS OVER AT WO-S THEY JUST (CANT) SEEM TO FIND THE WAY TO GET PAST THIS.AS IN YEARS PAST THEY HAVE RUN INTO TEAMS THAT WENT ON TO WIN STATE IN THIS ROUND FOUR AND THE KIDS ARE UNDER DOGS THIS NEXT WEEK LIKE IN YEARS PAST. THE COACH FROM LG HAS SAID THE WIN OVER HJ WAS A WAKE UP CALL FOR HIS TEAM NOT TAKEING AWAY FROM HJ BECOUSE THEY WERE A WELL COACH FOOTBALL TEAM AND OUT STANDING PLAYERS ALL OVER THE FIELD.THE MUSTANGS DID PLAY LIGHTS OUT FOOTBALL FRIDAY A VERY LARGE FAST LM FOOTBALL TEAM THAT MOST SPORTS WRITTER PICK TO WIN OVER THE KIDS THERE AT WEST ORANGE BUT THE KIDS BUCKLED DOWN AND PLAYED MUSTANG FOOTBALL THE WAY WE NEW THEY COULD,I WOUNDER HOW THE COACHING STAFF CAN BRING THERE TEAM DOWN TO EARTH AFTER A BIG WIN LAST FRIDAY ,CAN THE MUSTANGS PLAY LIGHTS OUT FOOTBALL TWO WEEKS IN A ROLL.

Or LAYING round like #72.

One thing for sure is...You will never hear the Ladybug say “who are these guys from HJ” anymore. I now know that this team has excellent culture, pride, fans, and talent. Even though they did not get the victory against LG, next year I believe they now have the experience and talent to reach even higher goals.  What a get year HJ, great momentum for the next up- coming season.  :)

I got ya Bug. I agree with you on the laying on the players. I'm more talking about what people were saying going into this game. Talking about how they will cheap shot you or taunt and everything else. I really didn't see any of that. Football is football and trash talking during the game is from pee wee up to the NFL. No big deal. I just thought they weren't anywhere near what people were saying about them. LaMarque will always be LaMarque. We just got them this time and I'm sure it won't be the last matchup between us. Hated that GLT went down but sounds like he will be ok. Now to focus on laGrange who is not LaMarque. They are VERY big and physical but play with a lot of class. I was fortunate to see them play yesterday and they are good, real good. World beaters like people were saying all season? No way. I said it all week that HJ had to play a perfect game to beat them and they dang near did. They have 2 backs that supposedly are even better than LM's backs. We really only got to see one of them(Hutchinson) but the other(Dobins) is just as dangerous. They say they have a good passing team but I didn't see it. They maybe had thrown 5 passes and completed 2 or 3. The passes weren't exactly pretty either. If we can stop those 2 monster backs and make them pass against our crazy DBs could be game over for the Leopards. On a side note, they looked like LSU with their uniforms. Lol. And we know how LSU chokes in big games....just saying. Haha

LaGrange is a good team. They made adjustments the whole game. They were very disciplined on defense... They did not pack the box with 10 or 11 players like everyone else has done, they changed their stunts and made the d look the same every play... I couldn't tell if we made any adjustments... Not griping, just didn't see any... I'm proud of our boys, they played 4 full quarters of intense football.... LaGrange hung with it, capitalized on our few mistakes, and got the win... Congrats, my hats off to you guys, you will have your hands full with WOS. WOS fans, don't think because you beat us, and we stayed with them that it will be a cake walk..... These coaches and players are very disciplined... They will find a weakness sooner or later.... Hopefully for WOS, it will be later... Good luck!

I saw the game with my own eyes. He is very stoppable. Especially how or D contained the 3 from LaMarque in the latter game. I feel really, really good about our chances. Now, I know we have been here before but that D is nothing to mess with.

"After what I was told"... LMBO... Look out out folks... BG has inside knowledge that will CHANGE THIS GAME... smh
 
Like I always say, this game will be all about individual matchups... plain and simple. But you have to wonder if LM players and coaches wonder how good they really are... The only teams they have to guage their progress (their schedule) weren't very good. Only one loss, but it was to a .500 team that didn't even make the playoffs. Their last win was against a mediocre 7-5 team who was destroyed by a team that was destroyed last week by our 2nd place team. 
 
That's not a prediction, they may come out and run us off the field, but it's something I wonder about and you know it has to be a cause for concern for the people from LM that really count.

Since playoffs Bedelmon hasn't even been close. I think the mouse takes it but I like his presense. Someone has got to unite all the HJ and WOS posters who have spent the year hating on each other. Haha

well when started my little campaign in a diplomatic approach, these KIDS started smacking back and it took off from there. i treat you how you treat me. you come at me in a calm manner you get that in return. i will admit, most of it is to just tick people off because they are not looking at the broad picture. yes, being in the playoffs is exciting. everyone want there team to go far and do well, but when you have teams LOADED with talent for the past 20 years and NOBODY can make it to dallas, something is wrong. example. "SETX" have 6 or more players starting or recently retired from the NFL. these young men has been in the NFL anywhere over the last 10-12 years. you would THINK that this area would have SOMETHING to show for it. the area have several D1 starters playing college. you wouldn't know it from this area playoff history. i said all that to say, at the end of the day, when the season is over. no matter how good you were, do you ever think, man, what could coach do to get us over that hump. for me, how can xbox harrison FIX a defense that has been poor since 04?? it's not that i hate the area i come from. i hate that we just settle knowing deep in side,SETX have the talent of what it takes to have at least 2-3 teams in dallas every year. not saying you have to win it, but 5 rds at least and not settle for a DC and 3 rds.

LM 's fans are not saying this team is our greatest team and beleive me they are not .We may have been overrated but we didn't do the rating someone else did.I was at the dome when WOS played and lose to Yates beleive me I don't think yall have the same amount of athletes you had that night.I saw WOS 85 and 86 teams no way yall at that level.The 2000 team was great defense but wasn't all that on offense.I know  your History.LM fan's have no hard feelings about what you have are haven't done.We will be there friday to Win the game and so will you.Its football around the holidays only in Texas.
