  1. Baylor is an outstanding organization. I will be keeping up with them this season. Yes he can 99, I believe that.
  2. Wow coach Foreman is on your list. It's not personal is it?
  3. Where you going LMAO
  4. #1 there are different kinds of discipline, on the football field, we can agree to disagree there is a discipline problem on the team JMO.
  5. No that is not what I am saying. As educators people expect us to be babysitters and raise their kids. Parents should do their job and teach their children to respect adults. Sometimes kids tune teachers and coaches out, that can be frustrating as an educator. The rest of your post is your feelings about things and that's fine for you. I am an open minded person who believes that change can be good.
  6. No #1, I work and live in Spring, basketball games are hard to go to as are football games until we reach the playoffs. I will make it a goal to pay more attention to other sports at WOS.
  7. Agree there is more to life than football. Education has always been a top priority in my household growing up, and it continues today. My niece will finish in the top 6 in her class in 2022. I very proud of her. I’m’ only saying top 6 so she won’t get upset with me lol but it could be higher. Parents should be the ones who are more involved with communicating with principals and, administrators when there are problems at a particular school. IMO the decision has already been made as to who will be the HC at WOS next year. No matter who they may be, I will support them, and I will keep supporting the team. Change can be difficult for some people; I always observe first then make my decisions to approve or disapprove.
  8. Once again…my focus is and has always been the culture of WOS football. Discipline, determination, respectfulness, focus. I have shouted those adjectives though out the season in my posts. Yes, these characteristics have been missing for a few years, even though we have been winning a few rounds into the playoffs. I’m not wasting my time explaining the culture change across the nation, that’s political and is not my focus tonight. Example of what I’m talking about… players wearing their shirts rolled up or, T shirts hanging out of their jerseys. Dancing on the sidelines. Fighting on the field 99, these are my concerns, and they are bad football culture characteristics. Who will be hired to turn around these football culture changes at WOS, will be up to the school board and not to fans near or far. B&W ok. I'm done with explaining WOS culture in football period...
  9. There is more to life than football. Using your example, coach A may have a winning record but may not be right for the football team, maybe coach B will do a better job with bringing back the culture that is WOS. Discipline is really important and have gone by the way side lately.
  10. Apples and Oranges 99. Job applicants nor employees should not be subject to having their personal information published just because they applied for a HC football position and, people want to know because they pay taxes smh. I don’t believe that we will know everyone who applied. As far as getting it right and kids suffering, well I trust the process, and the people who are making the decisions.
  11. After listening to Coach Forman talk about his team and the community, I think he loves where he is at. [Hidden Content]
  12. IMO this is political!
  13. Its still not clear to me weather people are entitled to this information or not. School boards have rules that protect their employees. Q. To what extent can a state or local administrator restrict access to, or release of, staff records? A. State or local administrators may restrict access to, or release of, staff records as permitted by their state laws and statutes. State or school board rules may also have policies regarding this issue. However, even with public records, the administrator has an ethical responsibility to protect the records’ integrity and allow access only for legitimate purposes. Specific guidelines for protecting the records system may be found in Safeguarding Your Technology: Practical Guidelines for Electronic Education Information Security. [Hidden Content] pg.10-30 My question is. Is it legitimate right for people to know who applied for the coaching job at WOS?
  14. It's not though.
  15. It depends Marshman. School districts must post openings even if the position has been offered from within and, they do not have to post the names of those who applied for the position.
  16. This announcement is surprising, I was just listening to the live show last night. First C.T. retires, and now one of my lifelines to the community is going off the air. I’m speechless.
  17. This could be a factor for sure.
  18. Yes I know he has, I just don't get why people think football divisions are all that important. I mean we have a winning tradition in 4A Division 2. Players are players, coaches should be able to win no matter the division. After all we have played upper 5A teams and did well against them.
  19. Coach Foreman may not want to leave his 6A coaching job where he is treated well to come back home at WOS neither. JMO.
  20. NOT So Much, their record is not impressive to me. I hope not.
  21. No I do not see him leaving a successful program that he has over there.
  22. Not the 90's for sure
  23. My Family members went to school with Coach Foreman they will be more than happy to have him as WOS HC. I had long moved away when he was a player at the school. I do not know him.
