It wasn’t targeting. But it was just as bad. It was a flagrant, unnecessary, late blindside hit. The player did “favor an arm” because that arm, from what we saw, is broken - they had to cut his shoulder pads off on the PNG sideline. He was on the ground for about five minutes. For no reason other than apparent malice, and completely uncalled for in a game where everything is going in favor of Texas High. I wouldn’t characterize the hit as anything other than an inexcusable cheap shot, and the kid who did it should have been ejected. It wasn’t just “oh football is rough,” and it wasn’t merely incidental contact. He should have been kicked out of the game, if he wasn’t (I don’t think the refs ejected him) and he shouldn’t be allowed to play in the next game. Other than that play, hats off to Texas High. Clearly the better team, and will be a handful for Crosby. I’ve never seen such a good defensive line. Congrats on the win.

Recently, 4500-6000 fans for away games.  farther we go into the playoffs, the bigger the crowds get.
 

I just know you arent making any friends lol. But PNG vs THigh is a really interesting matchup. Leaning THigh myself but lord knows I've been wrong before. 

I have to be honest. I would love to see PNG win. For a few reasons. I won’t put them out here, because it’s only my opinion. But I would like to see this group of kids prove a lot of people wrong.  

Sounds like great football weather to me! Last year they didn't play all that well in the cold so let's hope that's still the case this year,  go indians!!!

Remember the Natchitoches, LA Christmas Festival is going on through January.  There will be an extra 50,000 to 60,000 people in town.  Leave early & expect traffic.  I bet PNG will still have more fans than Texas High at this game.

Call me crazy but the PNG team I saw beat #7 Montgomery Friday looks like they should beat #6 too? TH’s defense is solid but I think PNG can still get 40 on them, and their offense is similar to Montgomery’s but I don’t think it’s as good. A repeat performance of the area round probably gets you to December IMO.

Didn't see a lot of defense played in round 1 or 2. We're fixing to see it in Round 3. Hopefully Trahan is good to go.

Thanks! You are exactly right. "Gel" is the exact term I used earlier in this season when BH struggled to find an identity under a new coach and staff. The critics howled but anyone with any football knowledge should realize it takes some time. The predecessor had five years, but some did not even want to give Absek five weeks. Well Well Well....I called it!  Aledo jump in here!! I am sure you were picking us as the 1 loss in our district!  I said 49 - 35 Indians!  Missed it by 1 TD...  You missed it completely!

The matchup with Texas high isn’t that bad honestly.
