That was a bad call alright, but it's not the worst I have seen. [b]I'd say Jack Clark's HR in the Dome was the worst. It had to have been 25 feet foul.[/b] I think the perfect game beaing ruined is why all the hoopla. Had this been just a game ending play, any other night it wouldn't have even made the highlights.

The regretting afterward should not be rewarded. Heck, they all reget getting caught. The thought process beforehand is what keeps things like this from happening. He should have walked away no matter what she did.

The way PNG played all season, and especially in the playoffs, I thought the possibility to be real anyway.

Here is what I found. I'm guessing this is what was called..... During an intentional walk, the catcher must be completely within the catcher's box until the pitch is released; otherwise it is a balk. 4.03a "(a) The catcher shall station himself directly back of the plate. He may leave his position at any time to catch a pitch or make a play except that when the batter is being given an intentional base on balls, the catcher must stand with both feet within the lines of the catcher’s box until the ball leaves the pitcher’s hand." 2001....Nederland vs. Bay City in the playoffs.....Nederland whipped them in every category except the scoreboard. Lost 7-0. I would dearly love some stats from that game.

Not trying to highjack the Roy "O" thread, but the best pitcher ever, Nolan Ryan, had the same problems in Houston. He lost many games 1-0 and 2-1. McLane should let Roy go and sell the team.

If Lebron becomes a free agent, no trade is needed. I wish he would give Houston a look. There is a fine young team down here. If Yao gets healthy.....look out!! He'll probably end up as a Laker anyway.  ;D

First, let me congratulate PNG on their comeback win last night. That's hard to do even at home. Todays' game....well, that's baseball. Buckle down and take game 3 tomorrow.

I heard that since he was parading as a 16 year old, he had an affair with a 15 year old girl. Morally wrong, but not illegal if he was really 16.....oops! Add-on.....in today's PA News, he is facing sexual assault charges for having a relationship with a 15 year old girl. He's been arrested 3 times in the past 4 days.

Hardest thing in the world is to lose a child. My prayers are with her family.

The Houston Astros have now won one game in a row. They are on their way to taking over 1st place in their division.  ;D

Even though Bellow is our #1, Laird is undefeated, so our coach has the luxury of pitching Laird first and pitching Bellow to win....hopefully. It really doesn't matter to me who pitches the 1st game. Let's not forget our offense. Nederland's bats will win it for whoever is pitching. Good luck to both teams.

Lots of great teams in this district. Nederland really earned this one.
