  1. I'd turn the AC off and ask her, "How do you like that......"?
  2. Watch this block... [Hidden Content]
  3. Cowboys play tonight. RB Gus Johnson has been wowing them in camp. [Hidden Content]
  4. it's where the old Sprad's Boattown used to be......by the tracks.
  5. Lots of good stories here... [Hidden Content]
  6. it's not happening.
  7. You don't have a RB or QB and you are going 10-6? ....and Cowboys fans are delusional...lol. Didn't say anyone brags, just most memorable.
  8. true, but if you are committing a felony and the cop throws down on you, and tells you to stop......if you advance (being foolish) he has every right to shoot IMO. TVC can expound I'm sure.
  9. What kills me about Texans fans is that their most memorable win was their first season win against the Cowboys. Wow, that tells me just how valuable a win is against my Boys. It don't mean caca to win against a perrinial loser. You can't have it both ways and say my Cowboys suck, then rejoice in your one victory over us, which has been avenged . TYPICAL Texans fan!
  10. Said I would be honest. Really, you don't even know me well enough to make an accusation like that. Do you remember Benny Barnes?
  11. If I am a cop and have to draw my weapon on you and you advance towards me anyway, you will probably die. I am already risking my life for an entire community and following procedures to make an arrest. I guess most people want to see the officer go down. Not me.
  12. Seriously, I don't recall the call against the Lions. I will be honest with my answer if I think the Lions were robbed.
  13. How about Crocker Dodge? Plymouth Fury was a huge car but it didn't matter back then with the 383. My friend's dad had a Fury but he babied it. You could drive in town without stepping on the gas pedal......practically had to ride the brake. Same with the 455 Oldsmobile. Man, they don't make cars like that now.
  14. The building next door was a Roy Rogers Roast Beef, kinda like Arby's.
  15. I like the site. There are other stories to view. Had one on Randle
  16. More injuries.... [Hidden Content]
  17. That was where the car wash is now. It was a DPS haven before they tore it down. Wife says Drakes had the best stuffed shrimp that came with fries and onion rings in a cardboard box. Malts were to die for also. Man, I wish there was a way to bring back Burger Chef. Unbelievably good fast food. I ate at the one on 11th street in Beaumont all the time. To REBgp, they killed the "drag" when they took out the circle. People started parking at Gateway then the cops ran us off. Too many vandals I guess.
  18. It was. My wife worked the one on Ned Ave.
  19. You obviously don't know football with statements like that.
  20. Mingle Chrysler/Dodge? I recall a PS on Calder and one on College. There was a Burger Chef in south park by the college.
  21. Big Chef?
  22. Seriously, my wife and I have discussed going to Indianapolis just to eat at the only one left.
  23. Yes, it was Burger Chef, then Hardee's, then Cowboy Red's BBQ, then Hamburger Depot.
  24. [Hidden Content]
  25. I'm sitting here about to have supper and a McDonald's commercial came on and it made me think of the old Burger Chef. Anyone else old enough to remember? They were flamed broiled like Burger King but much better. The Superchef was killer! Does anyone know how I could go about trying to revive the old franchise?....get a petition going or something like that? For you younger guys, it became Hardee's Just thought I would post a change of pace.
