  1. The whole problem here is that you can’t legislate morality.
  2. I figured it would be something like that. lol
  3. “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.” Sounds like a good plan. People being responsible is all it takes. If someone is always there to “bail you out” of your jam, then you are more careless. I think places like Planned Parenthood encourage unwanted pregnancies so they can do their dirty work, you know like harvesting stem cells.
  4. It’s like telling Khomeini he can’t enter the nuke facility. They need to say, “Who says we can’t enter?”..... then forcibly enter. Sick of this crap. Guess I’ll have to go down there and lead the way for the codless group.
  5. My guess is never. What do I win?
  6. I would rather pay for a woman’s birth control than to pay for her abortion. Haven’t looked it up, but I’d be willing to bet the average age of the mothers getting abortions aren’t teenagers.....probably 25-30 years of age. It comes down to responsibility, which nobody is anymore.
  7. Well, let a few of these punks spend six months in a cell with “Big Russ” and then ask them what it was they were protesting/ destroying. I believe in peaceful protest, but the ones I have seen aren’t even close to peaceful.

Where is the HOA when you need them? Can’t fly an American flag, tear that crap down!
  9. I take responsibility for my own actions. Thanks for thinking of me though.
  10. You don’t know any of the other people you spoke of either. We all know he was doped up. Didn’t anyone teach you to respect the opinions of others? Just because you disagree doesn’t make you right.

  12. He lost what little credibility he had with me on that night.
  13. Thanks Lawman. Enjoy your retirement. I’m not far behind.
  14. Of those bad dope fiends.... one of them being George Floyd?
  15. Jae-in should have said,”Where’s Trump”?
  16. To follow the thread title......
  17. Glad you understand. Some people don’t even know the business end and would look down the barrel wondering. My first post I addressed some of the other problems which could arise.
  18. Most homeless people I see are men and they are there by choice. I see very few women and no children (I’m sure there are with my limited range), but homeless are not simply family men, down on their luck waiting for a good job to come along. Contributing to their panhandling only exacerbates the problem
  19. I realize that no class is being offered. I suggest that there should be under the guise of “we tried”.
  20. No, but we also have to introduce them to fishhooks. Driver’s training does not guarantee good drivers, but at the very least they have an idea.
  21. We live in a society that has to have warning labels on fish hooks so that individuals do not put them in their mouths. I don’t think asking these same individuals to take a gun safety course is too much.
  22. I think it could present some problems. Even though I believe in the 2A and would never say someone has no right to own a firearm, some people can’t walk and chew gum at the same time. I think there would be a lot of Barney Fife incidents with a rise in accidental shootings/deaths. Everyone should own a gun at their home to protect themselves, but I’m afraid that to carry publicly, instead of the passerby giving the proverbial finger, it may escalate to gun violence. Gun classes show people how to safely handle a firearm while also teaching that it should be a last resort....not something you pull on someone to win an argument or if they cut you off in traffic. Kids should be taught gun safety at an early age. Just my opinion. That and $1.50 will get you a cup of coffee.
