He sees the play not in his direction, then he turns toward the QB and makes a b-line at him. Can't be more deliberate, sorry to say.

Have not seen the play you speak of, but I don't see the comparison between taunting and a complete cheap shot. There is no place for neither action in the game. But these players learn from watching the trash talking in college and the pros.
