Good news for Bost is it is not broken. He will be there next week but I don't know how much playing time he'll get. I think he will place set though.
For real? wow, glad to know he didn't break it! Great kid!!!

I know they will be working on holding the football for kicks cause thats a big thing the deeper we go
It IS a big thing, but Bost was the holder, so when he got knocked out, a new guy stepped up. He'll get some reps in and be fine.
I'm more concerned about the guys coming in around the outside. That one was offsides several times (no call), but that's been our Achilles Heal all season.

The Indians take this one. Central always puts up a good fight, but they just don't have enough to beat us this year.

Well, same story for PNG. Four playoff games in three years and PNG has given given up at least 41 in each game. Wasn't anything pretty for Angleton, they just did what they do. Toss left, toss right and hand off up the middle.
Completely different looking teams on the field physically.
Boy, you said a mouthful! Those guys were men among boys out there. AND, they had speed and smarts too! You can't fault the Indians, who were simply out-manned.
Still proud of my boys. They hung in there till the end.
Still questioning the 2 point attempt by Angleton, with 1:30 left. Seems classless to me.

I have not read all of the 7 pages for this thread so if it has been addressed I apologize.
Why the smaller BH stadium vs Stallworth?
The stadium arrangement was agreed upon by 4 coaches, before they teams were decided.
As far as smaller stadium, PNG didn't fill their side there 2 yrs. ago, so no worries.
Also, IF you draw a large crowd, some coaches would like to prevent that larger crowd from having an effect on the game. So, make sure it's a smaller stadium!

I would also like to throw a shout out to the PNG Indian Marching Band, Indianettes, and Twirlers... Awesome half time performance with a TWIST.....
I'll let the kids know ya like it! My kid is one of the Drum Majors and they all work extremely hard. They just love performing, especially when the crowd gets into it, like last night.
Thanks

I was really surprised at the lack of fans on the Dayton side. I thought they traveled better than that. Looked to be only about 1,000 or so.
What gives? -
PNG Period.

Vidor doesn't have a chance until they get a passing game. When you have ZERO yards, you pretty much expose your hand. They have some good running backs, but everyone knew they weren't throwing. Made it much harder on them.

Look at Nederland. There's your answer.

Nobody has beat the heck out of us.
Really? 42-14 is not bad to you? And, if you were at the PNG game, you KNOW we could have hung 60 on ya!

Shoot, you can't even question a coach's performance on this board.
If you're trying to question his performance, you're making yourself look awful bad. The man is a winner in every sense of the word.
Some people could care less if PNG EVER made the playoffs, as long as they beat Nederland. But, how long would he keep his job like THAT?
Me? I'll take the playoffs. The Nederland wins will come in time. He's still young.

I imagine they will sale SRO.....
The problem with THAT is, the way the stadium is configured now, there's really not any place to stand and watch! Kinda kills the excitement of SRO.

I see the Dictatorship has spoken again... Let me guess the School District cant afford cleanup??? LOL....
The baby powder is murder on anyone with asthma... can start an attack.
Also, the student section is adjacent to the band... UIL contest is the following day... NO WAY to clean 250 uniforms over night. Do the math.

The one in front of the hs and intermediate are teacher parking lots and the big one is student parking
OK... I get that, but it doesn't answer the question. There are 3 outlets, yet everyone forced to funnel into 1??? I'd rather park at PNG or Ned, on the streets, where you can get to your car and go home!

We'll have to play better disciplined football than we did against Slumberton. The week before, we had 1 penalty. Last week 7... for 85 yards! And mostly because Slumberton baited us, and we bit. Ned will bait too. We have to do better.
This year, we DO have the weapons. But we have to perform with them if we do, we win. If we come out flat, it will be hard to overcome.
Should be a great game. Hoping all players come out injury free.
OK PNG & BH Fans.... I may have screwed up!

It has been brought to my attention that the PNG/BH thread has disappeared. It seems that when I was trying to delete a post that I decided not to make... I must have deleted it. My Bad.
My apologies to both sides and to this board.
The moral of the story... they really shouldn't let me play with the buttons...
