Lumberton's Chelsea Pickering signed with Panola Junior College.

Basically every starter will be a senior. There will only be about 5-6 juniors PERIOD on the team  this year. Which will leave almost no experience on the upcoming season after this year

if lidge keeps up the way that he has been going, were not going to be able to trade him for even a good third basemen, let alone a great third basemen. and pence is here to stay, hopefully FOREVER! and dont release trevor miller, unless you decide to put wandy in the pen. because he is our only other lefty.

got to see nolan ryan pitch when i was about 10, amazing experience. saw roger pitch last year, and got pissed off b/c he gave up like 3 hits through 7 1/3 innings and ended up losing 1-0. id love the see johan santana, and dice-k! as well as the d-train!

id imagine that he would, especially with the success that he has had.. but you never kno. he may jus move on up to houston and just be her #1 fan.. which wouldnt fare well for lumberton.

watched stringer make a lot of people look very funny at the plate..

Lumberton's Courtney Wilson signed with Houston Baptist University! congrats to her.

With their coach leaving, whats there future next year? i think if they can return most people from this years team, and get a solid draft pick or 2.. they could be an even better team next year..

lamar probaly has the 3 most solid players in the SLC in michael ambort, colin delome, and erik kanaby. all three have futures at the next level i believe.

green from dayton will have another solid season, but also look for dejohn of lumberton to have his best season yet..

that was wilsons first ever start on varsity. he just needs to learn to keep the ball down, especially against good teams. and throw more strikes. hopefully lumberton can start turning things around next year. great young talent.

i think my brother told me that he has been failing most of the season, or he's been injured one of the two. which sucks because he is one heck of a ballplayer.

yea i forgot about erickson, he has done a very good job a varsity player, coming up with a season that most varsity players would be proud of, especially freshmen. and lumberton has in betweek 2-3 seniors playing. all 3 talented. its just ashame that they couldnt have had the same coach throughout there highschool career. they couldve done great things with sum regularity out of there hc.

chelsea pickering of lumberton also got all-state.

the pitching staff is way down this year, and there not scoring any runs. they better make a few big trades before the trade deadline.

I know we are in a conference that no other teams have a hockey team.. but is it not a possibility to be in another conference for just one sport? because we do have a perfect facility to host a lamar hockey team, even though it is not on LU grounds. but could a lamar hockey team be a possibility?

i know he is young, but corey lemaire of lumberton. second team all-district last year as a freshmen, only making three errors all year.

and don't put lumberton's seniors down, because the 5 or 6 seniors that the team has, are going to be a reason for success. because in the 4 years that they have been at lumberton, they have gone through 3 coaches, and they continue to fight and not give up. and they support everyone on the team. so don't put the seniors down!

one things that some of you guys do not know out there, is that lumberton has some of the best young talent around. the jv team is just plain dominating, most of the games not even close. right now there are probaly 3 players on that jv that could contribute to helping the varsity team winning. but, they won't get to play everyday. so coach reyenga is doing a very smart thing by letting them stay down to continue to play everyday and get better. and there is only one senior starter on varsity, the rest lower classmen. and every one of them work there butts off to try to get better, and we are. we all knew that we weren't going to be a winning team right away...so just give us time, and a little bit of support, well heck you don't even have to give us support. but we will be a winning team within the next two years.
