We have 38 kids in the program. Cant bring them all. For instance, in the Nederland Fall League, we brought everyone because Nederland had two divisions. But for Varsity only tournaments, we only bring the Varsity guys. These are opportunities for the Varsity players to get in some good work before the season starts. You are correct, its not about winning in the fall. Just getting better and preparing for the season.

We invite all of our Varsity group to play in Fall and Spring events. We will have 13 on the Varsity squad this year. Three are in football right now, so we invite the other 10 to fall and spring tournaments. Sometimes they can't all make it, so we have to go with 6 or 7

This schedule is changing. Coach had to make some adjustments because Fall Brook can only play two games. I don't have the revised schedule but know that our changed to: 10am - Kelly vs Ozen II 1pm - Kelly vs HJ 4pm - Kelly vs Ozen

Yes indeed lol. And for the record the two players missing, Baker and Valsin, are arguably our best to players.

While his statement may be true, it's just the kind of locker room material I'm looking for!

Nederland is tough to press because they play smart. They spread the floor and make good decisions. And I don't think Ozen can press Miguez in the open floor. I saw him shred defenses with better talent all summer. Pressing him plays to his strength. Just an observation
