Ok tryouts are upon us, the season is about to begin. Let's see some more predictions.
In 22 5A I would like to think GCM would prevail but we'll probably see PNG's ace both times we face them. So I'm thinking.
1 PNG
2 GCM
3 Lumberton
4 Vidor / Nederland - I haven't seen any team previews on these two so I'm not sure who to put in this spot.
 
This seasons going to be tough. Whoever gets the DC is going to earn it. I hope GCM proves me wrong and takes it all. I can see the top three teams making some noise in the playoffs.

GCM takes 22-5a. They are freaking loaded. I know PNG is very talented, but I'm giving edge to GCM. GCM kids practice where my boy does and I've been impressed. GCM might be a year away from Round Rock.

They are just pollsters. You know they dont watch the games or know whats going on lol..

There is no reason they dont play every year.  All 4 schools.

Definitely, the only thing better would be GCM and Sterling forming a 7 team district with the 5 Pasadena schools. But I prefer the Old Coaches projection, I have family in La Porte with a son my boys age and I'm a Channelview grad.

23-5A is screwing everything up. I thought about if BH had to go into that district. Talk about a welcome party for the new coach. That district is going to be rough. I don't see UIL putting less then 8 teams per district. Old Coach predictions has like 6 and 7 team districts. Don't see UIL doing that.

If they start winning will the Hill build him another $60 million dollar stadium?

I am a realist.  I know we will not win a State Title coming out of Baytown. Can we have winning seasons yes. Can we send kids to college yes.  Do we have the talent to keep games close and pull off upsets here and there. yes.
I just want these kids to play hard and have a staff on the sideline that looks like they want to be there. Team and promote these boys.  

It's not going to be easy no matter who we play, but not having North Shore would sure help mentally.
 

Channelview will also struggle with out Hurts at Qb.  I work with a bunch of Channelview guys and they dont seem to think they will have much coming up in the future.

Congrats Coach Jones. I've heard the same thing about being well liked by the players. Hopefully he can raise the bar and get the Patriots ready for some 6A football!

No Northshore in 19 6A. That would be nice.

Ok, so there's no need to use any "frowned upon" interrogation methods on you. No problem.

Just my opinion.

Can not wait to get to more GCM games this year.

I'm not concerned with topping BH's hire. They're a have we're a have not. I'll be happy if we find the right "fit" regardless of who it is.
