I'm not religious and I'm not political. I have never read the bible and as of right now I don't plan on it. I don't plan on running for office either.
I don't even know what a liberal or conservative person believes in and don't really care.
I am married and have three children. I was brought up in the Methodist church, my wife the Catholic Church. My three children attend the Catholic Church and attend all of the religious education programs provided.
Again I have never read the bible and don't plan on it either, so I would like somebody to answer the following question for me.
From what I hear people say doesn't God say something to the effect of not judging people? Yes or No is all I need to know.

I didn't even realize until you made this comment, but there has only been one team in all of the state at the 5A level that has scored more than 89 points in the playoffs and that was McKinny in the first round that scored 90 points. That makes it all that more impressive to me.

They need to rebuild their youth program.

I'm going to try and use logic here and say Lumberton wins in a close one. OF has lost to
two different 3A Div 1 teams Buna in a close one and lopsided loss, but sounded like a close game to Kirbyville 42-27. Kirbyville has played a common opponent of Lumberton in BC and beat them by a pretty similar score. So I would say Lumberton 42 OF 34. I have seen both Lumberton games and the defense has to find a way to stop giving up the big play on defense. I thought the offensive passing game against HF was non existant, but had a very nice balanced attack against BC with some nice down the field passes to the WR's. I think the loss to HF was kind of a fluke, but a Loss is a Loss. I hope that Coach Haynes can change the culture of football in Lumberton to a winning culture.

Wow, wonderful performance Bridge City Cardinal band. I don'tknow if it is due to the current world situation, but your Patriotic performance had me fighting back tears .

I forgot all about the interception on the third and long by Lumberton defense who fumbled it during the return with HF recovering the fumble to them give them 1st and 10. Lumberton offense would have had the ball inside the 30 yard line. There shouldn't be any grumbling. Fix the small things and come back strong next Friday.

Lumberton had so many chances to win that game. The play before the fumble the clock stopped because of illegal motion on 2nd down making it 2nd and 13 with 44 seconds left. They had to to get the first down because of time outs left by HF. The fumble was not a pitch it was just a bad exchange between QB and RB. Even after turnover. HF first play was a pass that hit Lumberton Defender in chest. QB for HF made one hell of a run to score. Lumberton had ball with 21 seconds left. Threw a big gain screen play up the middle called time out. With 8 seconds left Lumberton threw a long pass for what appeared to be a completed pass, but it was dropped. Lumberton would have had the ball at about the 20 yard line with a second left. Lumberton also had a QB sack when winning 41-30 that appeared to cause a fumble but refs called the arm was going forward. Lumberton has to eliminate the small mistakes if they want to win. I was surprised Lumberton ran the ball as much as they did. I figured they would be airing the ball out.

She is playing AAU, her dad is the all star coach and AAU coach. She is a great kid and Athlete. She is in 4th grade and has been playing older girls for several years now. She is special!

What you guys said is what I am talking about. It's the hard work that you put in after practices and after games. It doesn't really matter where you play HS and what level of competition you face while in HS. As long as you put in the work on your own outside of HS you will get better. JRidge is working with the youth outside of any HS practice or select practice. These kids are the ones getting better. The ones in the driveway busting there rears while others are on there phones and hanging out at the mall. Who is everybody talking about today? #3 from Ozen, why? Because she is putting in the extra work. It's not because she is playing at Ozen.

College coaches might observe a few HS games, but just like all other sports, the college coaches are more worried about their own season. Who wants to recruit a HS tournament and watch maybe 5 girls, when they can go watch a select tournament and see teams full of potential recruits. Alexis has been going to college camps playing against HS players and dominating them. Then when a coach looks at education and sees a high GPA from a private school and knows they will not have to worry about academic issues even a bigger plus! If she played at Ozen this past year how many Div 1 recruits would she have faced? Not very many!
