  1. You sound like you might be the coach who was "outcoached." Maybe you two should get together and hash things out...😂😂😂
  2. They did. He injured his knee in the EC game. He won't be back this season. Not that he would have completely kept Kountze off the boards, but he certainly would've helped a ton. Good kid and a good player. He's just a junior and will be back next season.
  3. Definitely getting better. I've been to both Buna/Kountze games this season. The 1st one wasn't as close as the final in Buna's favor, and in last night's game, Kountze was the better team from the jump ball till the end of the game. This game also wasn't nearly as close as the final would indicate. Kountze could've won this game by 30 if not for some sloppy play in the 4th.
  4. Here's something we can agree on 100%..
  5. Preach!!! Most of the animosity towards him is really just jealousy at its finest.
  6. Why would that be needed? So you're telling me I could say anything about anyone, and its up to them to disprove my statement? No matter how asinine it may be? C'mon man.
  7. Just because you read it on the internet doesn't make it true...
  8. I guess we have expert psychologists on the forum now.
  9. Chances are he won’t be doubled for the entire game in the SEC. If he’s so bad then why was the game plan to take Hefner away? (Great coaching by the way, and something English should’ve adjusted to, but he didn’t) Also, why don’t we let the kid get to A&M before you claim they made a mistake on him?
  10. Then criticize the coach all you want. Not the kid. It seems there is a lot of animosity towards the Hefner kid because of the kind of scholarship offers he received. (A lot of comments like yours referring to "power 5") Many people in college basketball must think he's pretty darn good judging from the offers he received. I'll go with the opinions of the guys working for college basketball programs over guys on the forum.
  11. PA played a great game and won. Coach came in with a great game plan to get the job done. I never made a prediction for anyone to win this game. All I ever said was how ridiculous it is that Hefner gets so much criticism from "adults" on this forum. With a few of the comments in this thread, I'd say I've been proven correct.
  12. Not sensitive, just simply pointing out that you're looking for reasons to criticize the kid.
  13. Placing star in quotations isn't critical either right?
  14. Texas A&M thinks he's the best player on the floor in this game.
  15. If you took that out of the article as something to be critical of, then you are just looking for a reason.
  16. Don't sweat the small stuff Jake. When a player is as good as Hefner is, people will look for anything to criticize the player. He will be the best player on the floor in this game.
  17. It most certainly would NOT have mattered. EC is just far better than anyone else in the district.
  18. Who? I know of 1, and he played during the game. Ended up getting hurt again. There was only 1 "starter" out.
  19. Those EC shooters were absolutely on fire tonight. Hats off to those boys. They pretty much played a flawless basketball game!
  20. Probably, but ultimately the JV level of basketball is for the kids to get playing time and get better. Standing there and holding the ball doesn't do anyone any good, and quite frankly I'd argue would have been even more frustrating for the Kirbyville kids who obviously want to play ball or they wouldn't be there.
  21. All teams should have the same opportunity regardless of classification. I just can't see a good reason behind the rule.
  22. Couldn't agree more. No one should get a curve up. Period.
  23. Do you actually believe what you're typing, or just trying to stir the pot as much as possible?
