  2. Not bad for a mediocre gravy trainer- The 2018 NFL Draft is complete, and Saturday's final rounds - four through seven - saw three LSU players selected. Rounds four and five passed by without a Tiger coming off the board, but the Atlanta Falcons jumped into the mix in the sixth round when they drafted LSU wide receiver and special teams standout Russell Gage. The Falcons had also drafted LSU linebackers Duke Riley and Deion Jones in recent years. With the first pick in the seventh round, the New England Patriots took quarterback Danny Etling off the board - the 10th quarterback selected in this year's draft. Etling, who spent the past two seasons as LSU's starting quarterback, will join a quarterback room in New England with Tom Brady and Brian Hoyer. With the 27th pick in the seventh round, the New Orleans Saints drafted offensive lineman Will Clapp. It was the first time the Saints drafted an LSU player since 2010, when they took defensive lineman Al Woods. Clapp will play either guard or center for the Saints. The three picks for LSU on Saturday followed up four picks from the day prior, with Friday's round two and three selections seeing Donte Jackson, Derrius Guice, D.J. Chark and Arden Key all come off the board. Jackson, the first LSU player selected this year, was taken with the No. 23 pick in the second round by the Carolina Panthers. Guice followed next, coming off the board with the No. 27 pick in the second round to the Washington Redskins. Then Chark closed out the second round for the Tigers, being taken with the No. 29 pick to the Jacksonville Jaguars. When the No. 23 pick in the third round came up, the Oakland Raiders traded into the spot to draft Key, who had once been considered a possible first-round selection. In total, seven LSU players were drafted this year.
  3. all those 1st round picks and only a Chick-fil-a championship to show for it. Aggy doing less with more. Cycles turn. Happens all the time.
  4. Let's go Deer!
  5. Willing to break this down by school? I mean UTSA has more than aggy, UT, and LSU. Should UT gravy train off of a satellite school?
  6. Deer Park and La Porte will play at noon tomorrow to determine the #1 seed. Both teams finished 12-2.

  8. Sounds like the possibility of winning took priority. Child pornography is a serious matter.
  9. My playoff scenario is slightly askew. GCM needs to win, an RSS win, and a SC loss to be in a 3 way tie.

  12. Coach Graham started his career in Baytown at Highlands Jr. He recruited my son and is about as nice a guy you will ever meet. I hate that he is not leaving under his own terms, however, it is time for a change at Rice. I assume that the player mentioned is Lance Berkman. [Hidden Content]
  13. Final Friday Playoff Push GCM vs Atascocita - Need a win and a SC loss. Split series with GCM. RSS vs Channelview - Need a win and a SC loss. Split series with GCM. Summer Creek vs North Shore - If SC wins, they are in.If they lose, need RSS and GCM to lose OR any RSS/GCM win would force tie for 4th.

  19. Ronnie Kluch Field 7:00 P.M. Going to check out Kingwood sophomore and Stanford commit Masyn Winn. Sterling still with an outside chance to make the playoffs as a 4 seed.
  20. You are correct. I did not. Does not change the fact that I can verbally commit at any time and it does not mean a thing until I sign my NLI.
  21. Not sure why it's risky. The player is under no obligation until he signs the NLI.
  22. Actually, they can manage a 3 way tie for 4th. Finish with Atascocita and North Shore.
