  1. [attachment=6:TS.JPG]   (Click on photo to enlarge)       Congrats to Nederland grad Trevin Sonnier for collecting his first D1 Home Run. Trevin is now at Dallas Baptist University.
  2. Looks like Johnny came up a little "short" this morning.   MANZIEL – 5’11 ¾, 207 with 9 7/8 hands. BRIDGEWATER – 6’2 1/8, 214 with 9 ¼ hands. BORTLES – 6’5, 232 with 9 3/8 hands.
  3. If they were winning, it would not matter. No one would be talking about the atmosphere.
  4. Q: Why do you think Charlie Strong is attacking Texas A&M with his “gadget” comment? Shouldn’t he just worry about his own team that might not win enough games to go bowling? Hector F., Houston   Hayes: Strong is doing exactly what the Texas coach, at some point, had to do by defining rival Texas A&M for what it is the last two years: third-place in the SEC West Division in 2012; fourth-place in 2013. I’m not sure I’d call it “gadget” but you get the picture. For all the hype surrounding the Aggies, what have they done other than introduce the world to the wonder that was Johnny Manziel? It’s certainly not their play against the SEC elite in ranked games (six losses in two seasons), or that thrilling come-from-behind win over Duke in the Chick-Fil-A Bowl. Think about this: two years ago, Kevin Sumlin had Houston unbeaten and playing in the Conference USA Championship Game – and lost to Southern Miss. Since then, he has led Texas A&M to a 20-6 record, signed a $5 million a year contract, and spearheaded momentum that convinced the university to undertake a $400 million renovation of Kyle Field. It’s an amazing story, really – usually reserved for a program that has won a national (or even conference) title. Not for a team that used one magical game (the 2012 win at Alabama) to redefine a program.
  5. Maybe the UT fans could stand the whole game to indicate their willingness to enter the game if needed. That seems to have translated into wins for other programs.   Here's my idea-Win some games and the fans will get excited.
  6. 38,000 were there to see the Heisman Trophy winner. Private will be good for the ags this year. Sumlin can buy a tarp for the next years game. I saw one on EBay from some guy in Waco.
  7. What does Lamar have to offer program wise? Why would a big name coach go there? Not being an ass, just not familiar with the program.
  8. [Hidden Content] Price has struggled some since UH released him. He's working his way back mentally. Had a good weekend.
  9. Brett was waived by the Cubs prior to Spring Training and picked up off waivers by the Reds. He is in the Cactus League with Cincy.
  10. Price Jacobs:. (GCM) Emporia State University, KS
  11. At his age, I would be content making all that money and not having to lift a finger. Enjoy life.
  12. Trade the pick. The Texans need players and lots of them. I don't trust Clowney and all 3 QB's have too many questions.
  13.   The Texans could use 2 extra division wins and I don't like Doritos.   Johnny's and angry little elf.
  14. I hope he gets drafted by the Browns. I'm not ready to be a Saints fan.
  15.   Ding, ding, ding.   If you can't beat'em. Change the rules in your favor.
  16. Romo is fine right where he is. Jerry needs Johnny to complete his 3 ring circus.
  17.   I think poor Customer Service is a growing problem across the board for many companies.   I'm sure when your cable goes out, they should account for the "pissed off" factor to begin with. Nobody is happy.
  18.   That's where this whole process turns to crap. If you want to be in the tournament, win your dang conference!   It's also why 4 teams is not enough.
  19. I have Comcast/Xfinity and have no complaints. Except they don't carry TLN. It's going to be tough IMO to get the FCC to sign off on this deal.
  20. $42 billion dollar deal could expand the availability of the Longhorn Network.
  21. If Baylor wins the Big XII, they will be in the tournament.
  22. Yeah, but I could never put Blow U in a list like that. OSU will have a tough time repeating last years success. I feel like the Big 10 will be a better conference too.
