Pineland-West Sabine did VERY well this year also....

Football ---- 3 rounds deep
Boys Basketball --- 3 rounds deep
Girls Basketball ---- Qualified for playoffs
Baseball ---- 4 rounds deep
Softball -----  1 loss shy of playoffs
Golf ----    District Champs---- State qualifiers
Track ---- regional and state qualifiers
Cross Country --- Regional qualifiers

It's been the same or close to the same over the past several years and should continue and get better over the course of the next several years.

A couple of the right move ins could put WS at the top in most sports.......  lol  ;)

I am very proud of the Tigers.  They pushed the #1 ranked team unlike any other team has this year and had opportunities to win both games.  WS has a very young team so next year will be very fun!  Congrats boys the town is proud of you!!  Coach Lane, we are extremely happy to have a man of your pedigree and morals leading our boys, you did a great job this season.

3-0 final Carlisle.  They did pitch their ace, Baker, and WS saved theirs for Saturday.  WS did leave runners stranded at 3 multiple times with a couple defensive errors that gave away runs.  I'm very proud of WS and I am looking very forward to Saturday.  The Tigers very well can play with Carlisle and have a good shot of winning game 2.

Not sure where you got your information, but yes they went to the state semi finals in football, 2 rounds deep in basketball, but didn't even make the playoffs in baseball

I sure hope this is rumor!!!  Falls City is too far for me to be able to drive and watch him play and being that he is supposedly going to college in baseball this will be my last chance to watch him play football!!  I'm really glad I took the time and opportunity to go watch him in the games I did.

I believe this is a rumor, however I just hope that he is finally able to be a high school teenager and have the opportunity to just "play" ball and enjoy his last year of high school.  He deserves that!

WS can win this game.  Carlisle will be the best they have faced in 1A this year but it can be done with mistake free ball.  WS will have to play to the best of their potential.

Game 1 Tonight at  6 pm  At  West Sabine
Game 2 Friday  at    6 pm  At  Cushing
Game 3 Sat. if nec.  2. Pm back at Huntington. If the field is dry enough.
