But I hard North Forest did very good in that district over there. That district isn't very strong, but he had an undefeated season, I think. Take that for what its worth.
They went 2 deep not saying much playing HISD first round...I believe they are now part of HISD so they let the coach go -
It's funny that this process took place the way it did. Central's hires didn't. West Brook's didn't. Ozen's previous hires didn't. How is this BISD hire different? Very strange...
Maybe that certain person had her hand in the cookie jar again... its obvious she didn't care for Ozen from the jump that's why they got the last bad coach!! -
@BellBiz - The kid is a Gem! He has a strong arm, nice decision making, precision, keeps his eyes down field, and has nice escapability. Most impressively he seems like he's also reading the D because he knows where the rush is coming from!!! That kid can play!!!
That's his first year at QB...I see a good season for dem Bronxs this year!!! -
Wrong. His first year (hurricane shortened season), he turned the program around instantly and won the district championship after a couple of early season losses. Did good in the playoffs after losing to a VERY good 2005 Brenham team staring a future blue chipper qb. (i forgot that kid's name).
So if Stowers comes, there will be instant impact.
I think his name was Jarrett Lee -

Hardin gets players to the next level, if they are worthy. I am certain HD does as well. Who was the last D-1 athlete out of Daisetta?
Only one "active" I can think of from Hardin right now, is Mitchell. Last Off. lineman to play D-1 was Nunan, but I could be wrong. That was 13 years ago. Scatright - Feeling old?
Winters was the last D-1 player from HD...if I'm not mistaken him and Nunan played at SFA together. -
We owned them too, in the 1999-2000 football season. But, we also owned them in BASKETBALL and BASEBALL. Heck, I even whooped their tails, in Golf.
But back to football, nevertheless.
You do remember this post you made huh..2 time defensive MVP you better ask boys at HD about me!! -
I was talking about 1999-2000
-
I can assure you HD wasn't in y'all district..HD was 2A and Hardin was 3A...I'm beginning to think you didn't play ball!!
-
I don't think Hardin and HD was in the same district
-
SFA in all sports.
HD in every sport but football, lol.
I doubt if you owned HD in basketball that year -

Who HD or SFA -
I don't feel like looking at the links. When was the last playoff win? I'm not trying to be rude in any way, I'm just curious. You can't continue to re-live 1979. That's when my 52 year old sister graduated from high school.
HD last playoff win was 1998 -

You are not understanding the post. The times are in reference to actual 40 times, measured by electronic devices, utilized by the official coordinators at combines, and or official team work outs. A good friend of mine, played at Purdue, and graduated from Liberty in 2000. He was officially clocked at an Jacksonville work out session at 4.63 in 2008. This same guy ran a 4.4 (stop-watch) in High School, and was one of the quickest players, from our local area, in the last 20 years. Perhaps now you are on the same page, or perhaps not. I did play football, and played it well, but baseball took precedence once High School began.
However, if you played football, from our local area, from 1990 - present day, and were exceptional in any regard, I know exactly who you are, and what you have done. I appreciate the kind gesture though.
A. Chambers was a heck of football player!! -
Dayton's last playoff appearance was obtained from an unlocked window like a thief in the night.
How far has SC made it in playoffs?

I have a better feeling about the upcoming season than I previously have had, but i think that L column is going to be a little higher like 4 or 5. Still got that suspect defense. Hopefully they can fill those 10 player holes. I know 55 is gonna give me a bashing.. :D but i only saw Darrell L. playing defense this past season.
So you saying they gonna lose 4 district games and miss the playoffs...they should be undefeated going into that WS game by the look of the weak pre district games!!! -
Hoping they find a Defense for the upcoming season. Offense should do fine, won't have the big power backs pounding the middle, However the two move ins (Doucet / Deblanc) are very fast. The stop watch don't lie oldschool2.
Did the move ins play this past year? -
Just face it Crosby rules. Until they get beat. Then the other team was better or they lost their star player. One of those excuses is the one they used this year. Who remembers which one it was.
The QB got hurt that was his excuse but I thought the RB was the better of the two!! -
Life in Dayton should be good now that SC has left the building. :D
I wish y'all was still around so y'all could battle Crosby & co. for 2-6!!!- Daytonfan9210 and BellBiz30

The final score was like 69-49 wasn't it?
That's correct... -
IMO Dayton would have won that game against SS, if a few players hadn't made some bad choices and got kicked off the team. We had A LOT of players playing both ways. SS wore them down. But we also know the would haves don't make a difference at the end of the game.. I was just saying... Someone can correct me if I am wrong about that... That was the 1st year I really started following the Broncos. So I could be completely wrong...
They made it to state so those players that made bad choices turns out to be good for the team!! To the game SS jumped out to a I wanna say a 21-7 lead but the Bronx kept fighting back but to make a long story short those on side kicks is what did it!! -

Just come watch our PeeWee program, Bobcat55
The kids that are in 4th - 5th grade right now have lost only 1 game in 3 years. "Dayton"
Exciting stuff going on in Hardin for that age group. Maybe we can get some of those HD studs to transfer between now, and then ;)I watched them play Dayton that year they only had one player that showed me something and that was the lil RB and the next year they didn't want Dayton in their league anymore.
