Nah it was once with Lincoln and twice with Central. The game with LHS vs NED was over at the opening kickoff, literally, not joking. That was the most lopsided butt kickin I have ever seen given to NED live and in-person.
I don't what that score was but Dayton spanked them 63-0 in they backyard

From what I heard, and this is speculation their is around 100 Million that's not accounted for from the bond.

lol, maybe that is because HD's graduating class has about 30 kids a year and Newton way more than that. LMAO! Of course Newton would win, bigger classification.
WOS beat Central and I can guarantee you that Central double they enrollment... so you can throw that bigger classification crap out the window. -
Last HD win was in Mid 90's, so, it was about 20 years ago.
I remember EC & HD in the same district (same size then), and I cannot remember HD ever beating EC in a district game.
1994 was the last time HD beat EC and yea it was a district game!!! -
Elkins is going to be nasty. Giles is a beast and they have a lot coming back. I'm picking Elkins to take the region D1.

dayton will be good but not sure about top 10. Dayton has had no running game in a while now and has not been able to stop anyone with a running game. Dayton matched up well with brenham but I really believe if dayton would have got past brenham TC would have ran for 500 yds on us. I think in our region fort bend elkins will be the team to beat.
That defense was young...I expect a better outing this season and a healthy McBride will boost that offense!! -

Dayton vs Liberty had some great rilvary games but Liberty got scared and didn't wanna put Dayton back on the schedule

It's all about what sells papers and BISD has definitely sold some papers with their antics.
News of FBI raids and TEA investigating and threatening takeover is much bigger news and will always trump a "middle school academic meet". :rolleyes:
This is the type news that makes regional and national news therefore one has to expect the local media to cover it abundantly.
Not sure I have ever seen an article from any local newspaper that covered a middle school academic meet.
So kfdm rating are down that's why they down talk BISD every chance they get!! -

That's because they are rumors, not facts. Never happened, never going to happen. Those sane rumors start every 5 years or so then go away. Not even a fair comparison between the two.
Since this is not a HD problem I'll leave all they skeletons in the bag!! -

What? Once again, pointing to scattered incidents to make your point. Are you suggesting that HDISD has had as many issues as BISD? If so, you are very misinformed.
Really cause they was talking about shutting HD down and make it part of LISD...Liberty has already taken part of Raywood but those issues never made media news!! -
Wilmer Huthcins and North Forest had FAR more issues that just acedemic performance. Read the wikis.

Its easy to shut down EC schools and move them to HF school district...its not easy to shut down the biggest district in your area...take a look at HISD do you think the state will shut them down with the issues they have!! -

The issue isn't whether other districts have had scattered improper incidents, the issue is that BISD has one improper incident after another. It's constant, and it needs to stop. The biggest thing I see is that the leadership at BISD (and apparently some community members) are so arrogant as to think they can still do whatever they want. Hence the hiring of Atkins. It was disclosed at some point, and that information wasn't given to all of the board members. Once again, a few in leadership are believing that they can hide info from others, in order to accomplish whatever it is they have on their agenda.

That's because the only news the local media is reporting about BISD is bad news! Smh... So no other district in the golden triangle has issues or problems? Of course they do but, you will never know it watch the media in this area.

Academics is not the issue with BISD its the people in the administration office... I don't think they'll shut down the biggest district in the area...just need to clean house and start from scratch!!! -
Somebody said Ozen not the red headed step child of this district...well this one here is on Chag the man told him and he didn't relay the message... the last coach was Lambert fault, do we see the trend here..

In my opinion, if you work in education and you get caught having an improper relationship with a student, there should be no second chances. When parents trust you with their children, and you abuse that trust, you are no longer fit to be alone with students. If BISD did not know this info and hired him, they should be ashamed of their background check system. If they knew it and hired him, they should just be flat out ashamed. Either way, the kids at Ozen are the ones who lose in this situation. No way Atkins survives this.
