I agree. When you decide not to attend simply because the game is being held in Houston, then try to make a valid point that AT&T is superior, that's crazy. Yes, AT&T is very nice; however, it's not fair that Houston and NRG is getting such backlash due to those simply not attending because the game were not in DFW. I've read and heard some say that they didn't attend because they don't like Houston... traffic is too bad... etc.. All EXCUSES!!!

Navasota has never been in a district with Liberty... In 2003, D23 Navasota beat D24 Giddings then lost to D22 Barber's Hill.

Navasota's defense should be very good. Better than last year's defense. Offensively, we probably won't see the explosiveness that we have seen in year's past from the Rattlers.

There aren't many schools who have made a run like Navasota is seeing. Over the past 10 seasons, Navasota has loss twice to Carthage in the 2nd round. In those other 8 years, we loss in the quarterfinals or won the state championship. Navasota has always had the athletes. We never had consistency until Fedora came to town. Of course, playing in 4A at the time didn't help. We would always run into an East Texas team, Carthage or Kilgore mainly. In 1996, we loss to La Marque who eventually won state 36-19. We ended the year 12-1.

Should be a close game. However, IMO, Silsbee should be the favorite to win region 3 and state.
