1. From you former district rivals in Navasota,  Good Luck oYe!
 2.
My pick would be Gilmer over Navasota if they in the state title!
Which team(s) have you seen play this season?
 3. I will say that Bellville is very familiar with Navasota.  Afterall, we are only 40 miles apart and we did share a district with the Brahmas for some time.  Although I don't think that Navasota will have any problems getting the victory, I do know that Bellville will play hard the entire game.  IMO, Navasota 45- Bellville 10 (a very conservative prediction) Yes, I do believe that Navasota is that good and this game could be over by half...
 4.

Some of you are full of it. Before tonight, WOS would be the team to beat the Rattlers. Now, it's Gilmer. Grow a pair and take the loss. The better team won from start to finish.
Quit your freakin belly achin the person who said that is not even a WOS fan. Nobody is trying to take anything away from you... Act like youve been here before...
First, if you didn't make the statement about Gilmer beating the Rattlers, I wasn't talking to you.  Reading comprehension is NOT your friend. Yes FULL OF IT... We played and dominated the #1 DEFENSE. Now, Gilmer is going to be the team to beat Navasota? Act like you have been here before!  Congrat the better team and take your loss.  Game over.  NEXT!!!

Navasota is the home team...and i'm pretty sure we're gonna pack out our side. We not only have a lot of followers from Navasota but also from surrounding areas and teams that we've played that support us. Will be interesting to see the crowd! #GOBIGBLUE
When I was in school and playing football, Navasota was one of our most intense rivalries.  Someone please refresh my memory on why Brenham and Navasota do not play anymore.  That makes no freaking sense to me.  WOS also knocked the 86 Brenham team that I played on out of the playoffs.  I will be at Turner tonight to show my support for an old rivalry.  Good luck to both teams.  You are correct in saying that there is a lot of following from the areas outside of Navasota.
Navasota is 3A and Brehnam is 4a. And that's great!
Actually, we haven't played since 2003/2004(?) I believe.  The final game was at the Astrodome as Navasota beat then a top ten Cub team.  Doesn't matter if we are 3A or 4A because we've always played Brenham dating back to the early 1900s.  And, Navasota and Brenhame weren't always in the same district.  I agree, It's a shame that two schools that are 20 minutes away with such history don't play each other.
 7.
Just watched the entire game film of navasota and lamarque. And I'll say this if navasota plays like that tomorrow night they lose by atleast 14. Wasn't empressed at all. I was expecting a lot more. I know navasota could probably play better than that but they will have to play a lot better to beat wos!!!!
:-X Everyone has been saying the same thing all year.  GOOD LUCK!
 8.
They must shut down the City of Navasota on game nights.  Their fans travel like you wouldn't believe.  Their side will be packed so the casual fan might want to sit on the opposite side.
Well, you have to remember that NISD school zones extend into areas towards Magnolia and Montgomery in Plantersville to Millican which just south of College Station.  So, there are a lot of people in those areas.  Last week, as the team passed through Montgomery, citizens of Montgomery welcomed the Rattlers with signs of support.
 9. By this time tomorrow, Rattler Nation will be swarming Humble at the tailgating.  Should be a dandy tomorrow night... R-att-lers, RATTLERS!
 10. I guess the score will end 0-0.  Navasota has a hella defense and WOS's offense isn't even close to being on Navasota's level.
 11. This game will be close as it should be.  Two very good teams going it with the chance to go to the Semifinals.  REG III at it's best.  Good Luck to both teams.. Hurry up Friday!
 12.
navosato dose not hide what there going to do when thay brake out of the huddle so i dont belive the mustangs will haft to blitz them.it would not suprise me to see them go for the home run  on the first play.i also belive the mustangs will invite  the rattlers QB to run the ball just like texans did wo-s years back besley took some very very hard hits if you remember. we as mustangs fan can only hope for the best for our kids
I've been watching Navasota football for the longest.  I am not sure why everyone assumes that Navasota goes for the homerun on every play.  They take what the defense gives them. La Marque dropped 8 into coverage so we ran the ball...  If the deep post is open, believe me, Baker will get the ball to the reciever. I think Friday's game against the Cougars answered many questions about Navasota. 1. Yes, they can run the ball if they need to. 2. Yes, they are capable of playing a grind it out game. 3. Yes, they are good enough to win in a close game even when turning the ball over 3 times. 4. Yes, the are able to play in the trenches.
 13.
well one thing i know is dat wo-s has highly recruited players everywhere in their secondary... i look for wo-s to lock down and show why they are da number 1 defense in da state of texas against those highly stated recievers from Navosota
It will be a good game, but Navasota's offense is much more complex than throwing to the "highly stated receivers."
 14.
good question.  I was trying to see who was recruiting some of their players too.  The qb surely is being recruited.  There are several on defense that must as well.  Someone from Navasota needs to give us some info. on these athletes.  If they get by WO-S, region III will be very well represented.
I can say that LSU, TX A&M, Sam Houston, & PV all had recruiters on Navasota's side on Friday vs La Marque.  The players have chosen not to entertain recruitment until the season is over.  There are many on offense and deffense who are being looked at by Division 1 schools including Baker, McGinty, Creeks, Collins, Minor, and Wells that I know of.
 15.

I think everyone needs to step back and remember this is a game being played by 15-17 years olds. Anything can and very likely could happen.  would I love for WO-S to win? Absolutely, but also i am very cautous about makiing predictions and realize Navasota is the best team WO-S has seen all year.  They make me very nervous.  WO-S will have to play a mistake free game and take advantage of every oppurtonity should one presents itself.  Would love to see a huge crowd from the Orange and Golden Triangle area there to support the Stangs.  Bad thing is Orange Christmas parade is Friday night also. I know some that want to go to the game but already are commited to being in the parade.  Navasota you guys are great no doubt about it.  Good luck and if you should win I'll be pulling for yall to to take it all.
I totally agree. Come on Rattler fans..ya'll have to at least be a little nervous lol.
Well, I will be honest.. Heck yea!
 16. We have packed our side of Bryan High, Buddy Moorhead and Woodforest.  And yes, standing room only and we were the home team each time.

Certainly better overall than anyone else you have played this year.
Obviously there are more ways to score...But, WOS will not score 28 points, PERIOD! IT would be quite interesting if the fans played this gaem lol..good thing the players are.
Yep, imagine that....How well does WOS travel?
We travel well..there will be plenty there.
Ok... see ya there.

By the way, are you the same crackhead that said Navasota would put 45 on WOS? In a big game I'll take the better defense every time and that would be WOS. I also didn't say the 'Stang offense would put up 28 pts. I said they would score 28 pts as a team. That doesn't have to all come via the offense. That ballhawking defense is good for a pick 6 or a scoop and score and we are also good at returning kicks and punts for TDs, too. So, let's say WOS got a scoop and score and a pick 6 and kick retuned for TD, which has happened this year, all the offense has muster is one score. I gave y'all credit when I gave you 21 pts. That's more than anyone's scored on them this year. If y'all insist on throwing those bubble screens and WR screens, I can assure a couple of those are going the other way for scores.
If your are referring to me, I am not going to stoop to your ignorance with the name calling... Crackhead?  How mature...  Anyway, did you see somewhere where I predicted such a score?  If so, show me... WOS gets by Lorena by scoring 28 points and by a very average West Columbia by scoring 20 points.  Some of you are very, very delusional.  Navasota ain't even in the same category as Lorena or West Columbia.  Some of you will be in for a real RUDE awakening!
I wouldn't call either Lorena or Columbia average, they were better than average..Now they are not in the same class as Navasota and that is a fact. I'll give you that.
I guess that I was comparing both to years past...  Especially West Columbia.. This years team was average compared to the past two years.

Ask La Marque who was the better team..  Navasota completely dominated even with 3 turnovers...  Up 24-6 in the 3rd.  Navasota then went to their run game.. So,  Tell me how La Marque should have won.. YOU ARE A JOKE!! LaMarque's first score came on a botched punt...Their second as a result of yet another unforced turnover.
