Carthage indeed has some nice rides. Navasota uses a third party company to provide bus services for the district. The busses are indeed yellow dogs but are the nicer ones from what I've seen.

At Silsbee & Bridge City will be the furthest. Bryan and Waller are a 20 min drive. So, not as bad as it appeared when the alignments came out.

Yes, looks like we will be making that long drive to Tigerland.

From what I've read on facebook, posted by a board member, they chose not to act on the motion considering Fedora still has one more year on his contract. Instead, they acted on more pressing issues and those whose contracts were ended this year. There is no issue except the press misleading it's readers, myself included, stating, "Board No on Fedora Extension." The board has yet to vote on an extension for Fedora. This will probably happen at the next board meeting. And, from what I have gathered, Fedora will get an extension. There is not a hidden agenda or any upset parents. The board members are upset as well. Something so innocent on their behalf has been blown out of proportion.

Navasota will be fine. Replacing our QB will be our biggest challenge. However, we have a good group coming back plus our JV team went 9-1 or 8-1 on the season only losing to Sealy 7-0. JV Schedule 2015 Georgetown Eastview Yates Coldspring Bryan Belton Sterling Sealy Magnolia Wheatley A&M Consolidated Lee Fedora will have this team back to playing in the championship in no time. After all, we didn't expect our 2014 championship to come so soon. We all figured that we would get back to the championship in 2015 instead. As we all saw, defense wins championships and a shutdown defense is what we lacked. Our defense should be our strong point this season.

Navasota's Pre District (From what I've Heard) Stafford, Magnolia West, Waller, Willis (maybe).. All within a 1.5 of Navasota... Magnolia West and Waller less than 30 minutes.

Montgomery is 15-20 min from Navasota... Guess that it makes sense since Navasota will be playing in a district with LCM and BC.

Should be a fun district.

Navasota @ Montgomery JV/Frosh 5/ Varsity 6, Friday Navasota travels 20 minutes down Highway 105 to take on Montgomery In the Rattlers' first scrimmage against Sealy, the Rattlers outscored Sealy 7-1.  From what I've heard, the defense looks to be just as salty as last year's team. And the offense appears to be faster.. Imagine an offense faster than the 2012 squad.  Hopefully, what I've heard is true.  This year could be another special year for the Brazos Valley.

Well, if tradition has anything to do with it, the Trojans will be a thorn in whosever arse the play.  I have some friends in Coldspring.  They have been really quite so far.  As stated, the first 3-4 games vs CE King, Navasota, La Marque and LCM will give us a better idea of what we should expect from the Trojans.  Hopefully, I will be able to catch the Navasota/Coldspring game..
