Back then, most of the key b-ball players also played football. It's been different the last few years. Our Varsity was always made up of mostly JV players early in the season. That's when we had all those great threads on Silsbee JV beating Central.

This foul is being overly discussed because it was at the end of the game. All the missed points because no fouls we're called under the basket...all game...are not being talked about. Silsbee won. HJ played their feathers off. Great game to watch. Props to HJ for a well executed game.

Could have been called, but it had been a football game in the paint the entire game with not many fouls called. They let them play.

I like HJ's student section. Keeps the game atmosphere exciting. Wish more schools did this...I believe they fired up a few Silsbee players too. Makes it fun.

He played a great game. Good , fundamental, physical post play. #5 was also impressive.

Whatever the reason Sigler sat him out, hopefully lessons were learned. Almost cost the team a win.

Saw them early in the season. I would say last year's Yates was better than this year's. I also think this year's Silsbee team is slightly better than last years.

I agree and am slightly guilty myself. I think Silsbee fans are just used to seeing 110% effort, and when it isn't there it's strange. Silsbee always seems to peak at the right time. My room is already booked.

Agree...not sure why, but they just look like they are just going through the motions in these last few games.

Reminded me a lot of the Skyline game except this team was no where close to as good as Skyline. Silsbee tried to out play them in the half court game and play mediocre defense.

Not a lot of in your face defense. Lots of just walking the ball up the court. One shot, no rebounding. Lazy passes leading to turnovers. They just don't look right. Maybe the second half will be different.

Silsbee not looking very aggressive on defense or the boards.
