  1. Check this out. [Hidden Content]-(huffman,tx)/basketball/default.htm I wasn’t there but I heard this dude #10 Jacob Harvey had an outstanding performance. It might look like a personal highlight reel but it kinda is.
  2. Yes, he’s not very tall but he uses his big body very well around the basket.
  3. 90-60 final HJ with some showtime dunk attempts at the end vs the reserves 1 for 3 on the dunk count.
  4. HJ pounding big #22 down low every time now, Pirates fading but a much better effort and improvement over the first 2 games. 70-48 6:21 left
  5. Some Vidor starters having to sit, foul trouble. HJ extends the lead 65-46 end of 3.
  6. HJ plays very physical and the refs are allowing it, Vidor trying to match their physicality but getting fouls again. 56-44 HJ 3:37 in the 3rd qtr
  7. And #2 walks up and drains a 3 53-44 timeout 4:52 3rd
  8. 44-36 HJ at halftime If the boys would have played like this last game we might have had a chance but this looks like a completely different Pirate team out here. We’ll see if they can keep it going after the break.
  9. Pirates wearing down and fouls pilling up but the reserves are coming in and doing a good job. Playing well, hanging tough 37-30 HJ 2:19 to halftime.
  10. Long 4 mins lots of fouls and free throws HJ making more. 34-30 Hawks 2:45
  11. 10 fouls 4 min to half HJ doesn’t miss free throws 30-28 Hawks
  12. HJ using the free throw line to take the lead Pirates with 9 fouls.
  13. Hawks coming back, tied up at 22 5:20 2nd
  14. Little #2 for HJ is all over the place, I like the way he plays ball.
  15. 19-15 Vidor after 1 Pirates hitting some 3s for once We’ll see if they can match HJ stamina and depth at this point in the season is going to be tough.
  16. 11-10 HJ 3 min mark Vidor starters holding their own but getting winded. Hawks bring in a fresh 4 showing their depth.
  17. Oh geez... didn’t realize that.
  18. If you put all your biggest, baddest and most athletic players on defense what will you have? Vidor. That’s what you’ll have, a good defensive team that can’t put up points and loses close low scoring games.
  19. 10-4 we might have to lean our hopes heavily upon PA and WB unless you think either of the MC schools are good enough. EC a wildcard maybe... Go Winnie! Lol that was fun, I’ve never said that out loud before.
  20. To be fair we like to laugh at PAM every year, 2020 is no different... I’m kidding of course, congrats on a very successful season. That’s more than can be said for just about all of the area small schools who are disappointed and feel like they underperformed this year.
  21. Hey man, Vidor had a good defense. Just about every year... but the offense is literally offensive.
  22. Maybe PA or WB can do something to represent the area once playoff time comes. Everybody else said peace out 2020, see you next year.
  23. Hopefully not before I can say, congrats to WOS on a good season. 2020 has been hard on all of us, thankfully it’s almost over. Best of luck next year.
