I wish your son the best of luck in his new spread offense, but passing on Jenkins, who did what he did in Harmony in year 1, will be a legendary mistake in the coming years. Orangefield had a chance, but let the Little League Coaches of America get in the way of making a decision that could've advanced the program long term. They will reap what they've sown.

This may be one of the dumbest comments ever.  If they have 11 play the game, yeah right.  Who in their right mind would try to play a varsity football game with just 11 kids.  Plus if they cancelled an Area Round volleyball game because of covid, then it must be serious.  I know those kids in HI, would strap it up no matter what, in the face of all odds, but there are things that are beyond their control.

I know it was posted on here last basketball season.  I'm just going off that info, but I thought that it was known.

The new coach inherited a group of mostly upperclassmen. You can dislike a guy all you want, but to discredit what he did for the kids while he was there is just showing ignorance mixed with being butthurt. If the current coach is some guru, then WH will go farther than 1 and done in the playoffs. 

Sounds like someone has taken a few butt kickins from EC.  All of this rhetoric that you are throwing out there definitely needs to be aimed at your team.  Do you want to know why EC comes off as "arrogant" to people outside of Winnie, it's because they believe that they can win any game that they are playing.  If you go into the game passive and "hoping" to win, then the odds are not in your favor.  Every winning program has that "arrogant" attitude.  I don't care where they are from, but they have it.  Just look at arguably the greatest QB of all time, Tom Brady, he plays with that arrogant, I'm better than you attitude.  I am an EC graduate, and I can tell you, EC used to be the homecoming game for everyone.  If you don't like how the BUCS act, then have your team beat them.

Pleasant Grove, likely to win State in 4a-D2, runs the Wing T and they threw for 2000 yards last year.  Just because you are a run based offense doesn’t mean you can’t throw it.
